87 reward in 8 different categories found their owners in the 44th “Value Adders to Economy Reward Ceremony” organized by Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) this year. BTSO Chairman of the Board İbrahim Burkay told they will continue to actualize projects that are both agenda setting country wise and like local application of national development goals. Burkay; “Bursa is a national power as the life giver to our business world economy. As economy’s heroes we are ready to get bigger success, be the most important actor of the national goals. Showing a national stand against the axis of evil; saying production, investment, employment on purpose, our business people deserve every kind of praise and approval.”
İbrahim Burkay highlighted they will continue to actualize projects; that are both agenda setting country wise and like local application of national development goals in 2018. Burkay continued saying; “As Bursa business environement we are ready to go and get the success in the new year; be the most important actor of the national goals”. Describing the promise of stability of Turkish Lira with an improvement on inflation and offer rates are amongst the priority demands of the business world, Burkay vocalized a need of increase in the support of manufacturers and exporters.
If Bursa grows, Turkey will grow
Vice Prime Minister Hakan Çavuşoğlu stated BTSO being very important for Turkey with a member count of approximetly 40 thousand in his speach at the acclaimed award ceremony. Çavuşoğlu; “Bursa is growing, our country is growing as well. BTSO’s motto “If Bursa grows, Turkey will grow” is becmonig reality.” Çavuşoğlu continued saying; “The incentives provided by our governement and the activity of improving the investment environment contributes greatly to Bursa business milieu. Bursa is providing the best example in order for our country to reach development goals based on exports. Despite the global trade shrinkage, Bursa is embracing its leading role in all the indicators of national economy by getting over 14 billion USD export limit.”
Stating Turkey’s need to produce and export more for the future Hakan Çavuşoğlu said; “Being the quickest groing economy by growing 11,1% especially in Q3 of 2017 reassured our friends and oppressed nations.”

Rewards in 8 different category has found their owners in this year’s ceremony. 87 awards were distributed in income tax, company tax, export, innovation, employment, creators of transformation and difference, most R&D SMEs, and industry leaders category. Successful business people and firms received their awards from; Vice Prime Minister Hakan Çavuşoğlu, Governor İzzettin Küçük, Bursa Municipality President Alinur Aktaş besides BTSO President İbrahim Burkay and Council President Remzi Topuk.
