Future Digital Is Targeting The Global Market With The GT Series

Introducing a new GT series model for textile digital printing at ITM 2018, Future Digital stands out among the successful Turkish brands in this area. The company is working hard to reach the global market after Turkish market.

Future Digital, one of the most important domestic players of the digital printing industry, has launched in-house developed GT series at the ITM 2018. The company was able to attract a lot of attention from the visitors during the exhibition with their GT series model reaching the printing speed of 550 square meters at their booth which turned into one of the stopping points. Founded in 2000, Future Digital has served Turkish textile industry for a long time as a representative of many important brands. Knowing the needs of the fast-growing and expanding digital printing industry, the company has begun producing its own digital printer in 2014 with an intense R&D process. Future Digital, which has been working in a closed production facility of 3500 m2 in Bursa, has contributed the industry through many innovations besides the GT series.

Introduced at a press conference held at the ITM, the GT series with a printing power of 375-550m2 per hour in 4 and 8 colours received a full mark with its performance. This model, which was the first in the sublimation printing segment in the world, was developed and manufactured as a product of purely Turkish engineering. Thanks to its superior industrial strength, the models on the series, which are likened to a stand-alone factory, offers resolutions from 300 to 1200 dpi. The models on the series have the possibility of printing 24/7 and have 1900, 2200 and 3300 mm print widths.

Equipped with Kyocera Piezo print heads, the new Future GT series showed at ITM 2018 that they meet the expectation of the textile industry with their speed and print quality. This series developed by Future Digital not only aims the Turkish textile industry but also the global market. This series is the biggest ace in the company’s hand; which will attend the important exhibitions in the global market mainly the FESPA 2018 exhibition; to be held in Berlin between 15-18 May.

Future Digital has taken the path of becoming a global brand

Future Digital General Manager Selçuk Hazineci said that; the GT series has all the necessary equipment that responds to industrial demands. “There is an extraordinary level of demand for the new Future GT; which has a printing speed of 550 m² per hour,” said Hazineci, and continued his words; “Future Digital is thinking of growing in exports and has entered a path to become a global brand. At the same time; we want to prove that a Turkish company can manufacture a successful and productive machine in the digital printing industry; and be a global brand with this much experience.”

Hazineci said they wanted to introduce and sell; the Future Carta and Future GT series models they offer to the market; not only in Turkey, but also in export markets. Vocalizing that Future Digital has a very strong R&D and UR-GE (International Competitiveness Development Incentive) background, Hazineci; “Apart from digital textiles and digital paper printing, we follow several exhibitions very closely. We have very serious plan on entering the non-textile digital printing market. We aim to carry our achievements in textile digital printing to non-textile areas such as HPL, artificial leather, and furniture”.

Producing digital printing solutions requested by Turkish textile industry

Saying that the Turkish textile digital printing market; is probably the most dynamic and fast developing printing market in the world; Future Digital Technical Service Manager Erdem Canık summarized this process as follows; “Turkish textile digital printmakers demand more quality, faster, more efficient and more economical production very strongly. We have come to such a point that we have now seen; that the companies we are representing and others do not have the products to meet this demand. Thus, we decided to produce our own digital printer with the confidence that our knowledge and experience gave us. Four years have passed since and we think that we have advanced a lot. We are delighted that we have achieved very good results; both with machine productivity and power and with interest in the market.”

As a machine manufacturer Future Digital first launched the Carta model; and that reached high numbers of installations in a short amount of time. Moving to its now modern production facility in Bursa in 2016, Future Digital maintains simultaneously both R&D works and the production of industrial digital textile printers. Future Digital is working on software and projects developed entirely by Turkish engineers in their R&D centre in order to achieve their global targets.
