Established in Denizli in 2002, Osman Canlı Tekstil soon activated its second weaving factory showing a rapid growth in a short amount of time. Starting with 35 weaving machines the company owns around 330 machines nowadays. More than half of the company’s machines park consists in new generation Itema weaving machines. Saying that they manufacture fabrics for home textile and garment industry, Osman Canlı Tekstil owner Celal Canlı stated that they are mostly working with the domestic market. Canlı: “We preferred Itema when we were investing in order to offering higher quality fabrics to our customers.”

Reminding that they bought a first bunch of 20 machines from Itema in 2014, Celal Canlı continued saying that nowadays they installed 50 airjet and 98 rapier Itema machines. Canlı; “We preferred the A9500 airjet weaving machine because ıthelps us in increasing our production. The A9500 is a commendable machine that can work at the highest rpms for 12 hour non-stop. Thanks to the fact that the yarn is well-fed in the machine there are no breaks and unnecessary stops. This ensures the highest fabric quality, and our customers are extremely happy with this. Moreover, the airjet technology decreases the labour problem to its minimum. We are employing less people and getting higher efficiency with A9500.”

R9500’s superiority

Mr. Canlı continued that they also have the rapier weaving technology, and he described R9500’s superiority with these words: “We have first installed the Itema rapier R9500 for home textile fabrics, especially bed sheeting fabrics. With the expansion of our customer portfolio we also purchased R9500 in narrow width (230cm) to meet apparel fabrics demand. Today we can weave a wide range of fabrics and we can process many different warp and weft yarns density; including thicker yarns. And we do not experience any difficulty in weaving operations. Since quality is our priority, we do not compromise on that. We did not advertise the fabrics woven on Itema machines, the products speak for themselves in the market.”

Celal Canlı said that the company employees attended for two times a highly professional training in the Itema Campus facility in Italy; and continued saying that they trust in Itema technologies with a long-term perspective; and they intend to continue in working with them for future investments. Canlı said; “Itema means for us first of all quality, secondly the excellent and fast service provided on after-sales service.”
