One of the important nonwoven manufacturers<\/a> of Turkey, Gaziantep based General Nonwovens is attending INDEX 17<\/a> fair held in Geneva, with its whole product range. Manufacturing fabrics for industrial and technical applications; as well as its products for hygiene, medical, filtration, automotive, agriculture sectors; General Nonwovens, is preparing to be one of the focal points of INDEX 17 where the global market will meet.<\/p>\n

General Nonwovens was established in year 2000. It is a member of \u0130mam Kayal\u0131 Holding; that operating in various sectors of commerce and industry in Turkey since 1928. General Nonwovens performs nonwoven<\/a> fabric manufacturing with continuously expanding capacity and product range.<\/p>\n

Continuing its development strategy since its establishment; the firm manufactures spunbond fabric from polypropylene, polyester, PLA and SMS fabrics from polypropylene. These fabrics have weigh ranging from 10 and 200gr\/m2. General Nonwovens also uses staple fibers with various polymer compositions both mono and bi-component in its productions. These are bonded by means of heat so, air through bonded(ATB) fabrics ranging from 18 to 80gr\/m2 can be manufactured.<\/p>\n

General Nonwovens serves not only to the local market but also to export markets.\u00a0 Providing 50% of its solutions to foreign markets; General Nonwovens majority of business goes into hygiene, automotive, technical textiles, coated and laminated fabric markets.<\/p>\n

General Nonwovens\u2019 \u2018HyGen\u2019 branded products are used very often in hygiene industry. HyGen provides solutions for baby diapers as topsheet, backsheet, ADL(Acquisition Layer),barrier, front ears and covering fabric layer. Air through bonded fabrics solutions are offered; to those who are searching for a soft web fabrics for high quality, disposable products.<\/p>\n

General nonwovens: Rich Product Range Wide Application Areas<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Having 12 thousand ton production capacity, brands and application areas in General Nonwoven\u2019s product portfolio are listed as such;<\/p>\n

Fabrics for baby diapers, adult incontinance products, training pants and feminine care end uses are marketed under the brand of HyGen<\/p>\n

In medical textiles segment; wraps and packs, examination gowns, disposable caps, disposable shoe covers, sterile packagings and dressings, bed linens, underpads are marketed under the brand of MediGen.<\/p>\n

Gas tribune filters, pleated panel filters, automotive cabin air filters, \u00a0filter media for SPA, oil and liquid filters, casting substrate for liquid filtration, support media for pleated filter cartridges using membranes, hydraulic oil filters, cartridges for heating and ventilating filters, technical and analytical filters, coolant and lubrication filters and dust collection filters are served under the brand of FilterGen.<\/p>\n

For textile segment; coated fabrics and composites, laminated fabric end uses, extrusion coating, fabric softener (dryer sheets) furniture construction sheeting, insulators, dust covers, shoe interlining artificial leather, quilt backing, flanging, backsheet, mattress insulators, bedding, wallpapers,table clothes under the brand of TexGen.<\/p>\n

Secondary carpet backings, tufted carpet under padding, mold release applications, hood liners and headliners (facings and backing substrates.)\u00a0 reinforcement layers, acoustic and thermal insulation media, door panel trim and backings, floor covers backing subtrate, seat cover slip sheets, transmission oil, motor oil and cabin air filters are served under the brand of AutoGen.<\/p>\n

In geotextiles and industrial use; roofing applications, shingle and tile underlayment, flooring mats, road beds, soil stabilization, soil separation, drainage, hausewrap, coated fabrics, tents, cable insulation, packing,\u00a0 protective apparel, landscaping under the brand of\u00a0 IndiGen.<\/p>\n

General Nonwovens will welcome the visitors with its whole product range and brands; including 100% PLA spunbond as well as very soft touch ATB fabrics served to the hygiene indusrty.<\/p>\n
