Carrying out finishing, dye and garment process in its own hosting aside from a wide range of yarn, weaving and knitting fabric kinds, Kahramanmara\u015f-based group took the production after completing its yarn investment in Diyarbak\u0131r. Ranked among Turkey\u2019s biggest 500 firms, Group now preferred Diyarbak\u0131r again for its 10 million dollars of worth garment and knitting investment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Carrying out its corporate structure and manufacturing process in Kahramanmara\u015f, \u0130SKUR Group\u2019s first investment operation in Diyarbak\u0131r began in 2013. The constructon of 31.200 squaremeters \u00a0closed facility on 50 thousand squaremeters land in Diyarbak\u0131r OSB 1<sup>st <\/sup>stage, was completed in August of 2014. This investment which costed 100 million TL, contributes greatly \u0130SKUR\u2019s power in the market. Group is manufacturing 100% cotton ring, combed cotton and compact yarn in this facility. Having 30 tons of daily manufacturing capacity, this investment carries on its 100% capacity production. Diyarbak\u0131r yarn facility consumes 15 tons of raw cotton yearly and possesses 10 thousand yarn manufacturing capacity.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u0130SKUR &#8216;s 2<sup>nd <\/sup>Wave Investment Attempt to Diyarbak\u0131r<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the exceptional manufacturers in textile sector possessing integrated manufacturing capacity, \u0130SKUR expands its new investment attempt in Diyarbak\u0131r to garment and knitting segments. Giving information about their new investment, \u0130SKUR Group Board Chairman A.Kadir Kurtul expressed that they focused on garment and knitting segment as well as the investment aiming enlarging the yarn facility\u2019s capacity in Diyarbak\u0131r. Kurtul explained that these investments would be made with over 100 million dollars amount and they planned it to provide employment to 1700 people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kurtul also explained the reason why they chose Diyarbak\u0131r OSB for the investments thusly; \u201cOur raw cotton trade tracing back to 50 years ago, formed and improved friendships; the raw material and labor force in this region had an impact on our decision. In terms of location, transport facilities of the city; its being a center of the region, its suitability for cotton agriculture climatologically; and textile industry provide advantages.\u201d Kadir Kurtul stated that they preferred Europe or Far East; based current systems with high competitive capacity, advanced technology; since they focus on raw fibre in Diyarbak\u0131r investment. Kurtul said that they planned to adopt this kind of technology for their new investments as well.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>&#8220;We will be manufacturing all the product ranges in the sector completely&#8221;<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Expressing that \u0130SKUR Group\u2019s new garment and knitting investment would be based in Diyarbak\u0131r OSB\u2019s 3<sup>rd <\/sup>stage; and the Textile Specialization OSB region that would be constructed soon; Kadir Kurtul stated that the construction would be completed in 2-3 years. Kurtul said; \u201cAs a result of these investments; as \u0130SKUR we will be manufacturing all the product ranges in the sector completely with high quality and capacity. In sectoral base this investments will increase our competition capacity; and broadly contribute greatly to our company to become a world brand. \u201d<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2016 was Full of Investments<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Making evaluations for the last year, A. Kadir Kurtul stated that 2016 was a period of Diyarbak\u0131r investment\u2019s\u00a0 maturement and transition to manufacturing of new 60 million dollars denim investment in Kahramanmara\u015f. Defining 2016 as a \u2018period full of excitement and attempts\u2019 Kurtul expressed thusly; \u201cIn addition to reaching our product portfolio, efficiency, quality and sectoral-orinted micro and macro goals, we determined new goals in 2017 to take this a step further. \u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Expressing their expectations for 2017 as well; Kurtul explained that they expect a volumetrical increase in the market; with both the Research and Development and Production and Development-oriented manufacturings and\u00a0 investments in Kahramanmara\u015f and Diyarbak\u0131r.
