The demand for nonwovens items in many end-markets has thus boosted production of technologies, characterized by a high level of innovative content in both end products and production processes. The increased demand for innovative solutions is precisely what enhances the role of Italian textile machinery manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">INDEX is the main trade show for the sector. For many Italian textile machinery companies involved in nonwovens sector the show is usually an occasion to show the most updated technology for nonwovens sector to potential customers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At INDEX17 (from 4 to 7 April in Geneve), for the first time, ACIMIT, the Association of Italian textile machinery manufacturers, and ICE-Italian Trade Agency have organized a Meeting Point (booth 4145), where 6 Italian machinery manufacturers involved in the production of machines for nonwovens will show their innovative solutions. Among these companies ACIMIT members are: Aigle, Durst, Testa, Ugolini, Unitech. Other Italian manufacturers of machines for nonwovens will exhibit with their own booth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Italian companies exhibiting in Switzerland are only a part of the manufacturers that in Italy produce machinery for nonwovens. In ACIMIT website you can find an exhaustive list of ACIMIT members operating in this sector.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Italian textile machinery take center stage at Techtextil, the international techtextil textiles fair<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Around 70 Italian machinery manufacturers are slated to take part in the upcoming edition of Techtextil Frankfurt; the world\u2019s largest industry event for technical textiles; a number that has grown over the years; and a testament to the interest Italy\u2019s textile machinery sector places in the technical and innovative textiles market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In recent years, the technical and innovative textiles industry has seen a great deal of development in many markets; and especially in Europe, where over 30% of revenue in the textile industry derives from the production of textiles for technical and innovative applications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Demand for such products has consequently also driven a demand for ad hoc machinery specifically designed for this sector. The offering promoted by Italy\u2019s textile machinery industry; is thus expanding to the new demands of customers operating in this specific sector. ACIMIT estimates that more than 100 of its member companies are now working in this sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A testament to the dynamism that characterizes the Italian textile machinery industry in the technical textiles sector; comes from the sheer number of Italian manufacturers; who will be exhibiting in Frankfurt at the upcoming Techtextil (9-12 May 2017). Indeed, around 70 Italian textile machinery companies will be present in Germany.
