The sample feed unit <strong>AUTOFEED <\/strong>reduces labour for preparation of the test specimen and introduction into the test field to literally zero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the first time at Techtextil TEXTECHNO shows the new <strong>FIMATEST <\/strong>system, that measures the fibre-matrix adhesion by means of a single-fibre pull-out. The system consists of the FIMABOND embedding station and a clamping and alignment accessory to the <strong>FAVIMAT+. FIMATEST <\/strong>has won last year&#8217;s <strong>JEC World Innovation Awards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A further highlight is the automatic drapability tester <strong>DRAPETEST<\/strong>. This instrument allows to automatically characterize drapability of fabrics and NCF\u2019s; as well as the formation of defects during draping and forming. The tester combines the measurement of the force required for forming with an analysis of small-scale defects such as gaps and curls by means of image processing.
