Susanne Jary stated that Lenzing focused on hotel sector after the success of TENCEL\u2122 in consumer base. Saying that they first made a cooperation with boutique hotels which are independent on supply decisions, Jary recorded that such criteria as flexibility, high quality expectation, the demand for differentiation, technique of buying from small producers, having a laundry in hotel and wellness trend, had been very effective on that matter. Jary said that with the Botanic Hotel concept thay developed, TENCEL\u2122 can be used not only in bed linens but also in all textiles available in a hotel room.<\/p>\n

Jary continued thusly; \u201cToursim sector has a high potential for textile goods. Whereas the number of foreigners travelling to Europe in 2012 was 1.04 billion, this number is expected to go up to 1.8 billion in 2030. Making TENCEL\u2122\u00a0\u00a0 fibers suitable for industrial laundry services wasn\u2019t an easy task. Some technical proposals for cleaning of hotel laundries in industrial laundry services were developed after years of cooperation with sector partners. All adavantages were provided for the use TENCEL\u2122\u00a0 in hotel business. \u201d<\/p>\n

Australian renting company Textilpflege Leitgeb stresses that; the features of TENCEL\u2122 like high dryness and moisture durability makes it possible to be used in industrial laundry services. German renting company Dibella GmbH; announced that they discovered a material with a lower environmental footprint and a higher textile durability; which are highly important for hotel industry, thanks to TENCEL\u2122. The company recorded that they went beyond their expectation with the first rental-fit bed linens; made from 60% TENCEL\u2122, 40% cotton they produced after 3 years of work.
