According to the patent research database, innovative reinforcement technologies leader Kordsa is in top 10 companies in the world with the number of patents issued in industrial textiles as of 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the leading brand in tire and construction reinforcement and composite technologies<\/a>, and putting R&D and innovation at the heart of its operations, Kordsa is among the global leaders<\/a> with its number of patents issued in the patent research database in the first half of 2018 following the record number of patent applications in 2017. Kordsa has grown its patent portfolio by approximately 60% in 2017, and has 174 inventions, 717 patent applications and 218 approved patents worldwide as of July 2018.<\/p>\n

According to the patent research database, with its number of patents issued in industrial textiles worldwide, Kordsa is heading towards the top companies with the most patents. Starting from the day it was founded, Kordsa ascribes great importance to innovation. Having modified its intellectual property strategy as of 2012; Kordsa started to make patent application as a legal protection for its inventions. After the patent applications are finalized and published; Kordsa strengthens its position among top players in technology according patent research results in industrial textiles.<\/p>\n

Kordsa increased their profits by 54%<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Kordsa announced the first half results of 2018. Market and customer focused activities, operational efficiency approach and recent strategic investment decisions were reflected positively on financial indicators. Kordsa\u2019s turnover reached 1.5 billion TL in the first half of the year. The turnover increased by 24% compared to the first half of 2017; and by 16% compared to the first quarter of this year. Net profit increased by 39% to 155 million TL while parent company’s share increased by 54% to 136 million TL. Kordsa reached EBITDA of 263 million TL with an increase of 36% compared to the same period of the previous year; and continued its profitable growth with its strong capital structure.<\/p>\n

Kordsa is in top 10 with number of patents: export champions award to Kordsa<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For its contributions to the foreign trade in Turkish economy; Kordsa was deemed worthy of once more Export Champions Award in the textile category; by Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) and received its award at the “TIM 25th Ordinary General Assembly; and 2017 Export Champion Award Ceremony\u201d.<\/p>\n
