Continuing textile investments shows that S\u00f6nmez Holding, which continues activities in many sectors, will not go out of textile industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S\u00f6nmez Holding, one of the most important actors of Turkish industry since 1975, invested 86 million pounds in order to improve their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sonmezholding.com.tr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">activities<\/a> in the textile industry and increase their capacity. Providing information about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.textilegence.com\/en\/category\/topical\/textile-investments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">investment<\/a> S\u00f6nmez Holding Chairman of the Board Celal S\u00f6nmez said their confidence in Turkey&#8217;s economy was never shaken, despite the economic recession in recent years. As it is to be remembered, the Holding was discussing the possibility of getting out of the textile industry in the mid-2000s due to the decrease in the profit margin. Increasing and diversifying their activities in other industries in this process, S\u00f6nmez Holding has preferred to develop their investments in the textile industry instead of the exiting it.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A total of 86 million Turkish Lira for the S\u00f6nmez Holding &#8216;s 3 fold investment<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S\u00f6nmez Holding makes their first investment for modernizing their spinning mill S\u00f6nmez Pamuklu Sanayi A.\u015e (SPS) in order to expand their product range. This 70 million Lira investment will double the productivity and production capacity, while contributing significantly to energy savings. Celal S\u00f6nmez; \u201cAs S\u00f6nmez Holding, we are continuing to progress; by continuously developing and adding innovations into our corporate body; as per the path set by our founder Ali Osman S\u00f6nmez. With the investment made in SPS, the latest technology production will be started as well\u201d. The company will invest in airjet spinning technologies for quality and efficient production.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The second investment of S\u00f6nmez Holding, with a budget of 10 million Lira; is made into ASF \u0130plik Dokuma ve Boya Sanayi A.\u015e catering into weaving and dyeing industries. The company, which will add the latest technology machines to its lines, exports to a wide range of countries; such as USA, China, Austria and Germany. Celal S\u00f6nmez; \u201cOur investments in machinery and product development are an indication how much our country have a value for us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Holding&#8217;s latest investment will be made to S\u00f6nmez Ra\u015fel, which produces knitted fabrics. This investment in the amount of 6 million Lira will increase the capacity of the factory.
