Machine manufacturers consisting of management and members, and the executives of textile <a href=\"https:\/\/www.textilegence.com\/en\/category\/topical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">industry<\/a> sector organizations such as Textile Machinery and Accessories Industrialists Association (TEMSAD), Turkish Clothing Manufacturers\u2019 Association (TGSD), \u00a0Turkish Textile Employers&#8217; Association (TTS\u0130S), \u0130TH\u0130B, \u0130HK\u0130B, Turkish Textile and Finishing Industrialists Association (TTTSD), Textile Committee of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and officials from leading textile companies took part in the meeting managed by MAKFED President and Deputy Chairman of ISO Adnan Dalgak\u0131ran. The meeting was held in order to improve sectoral cooperation and to accelerate the work of localization.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adnan Dalgak\u0131ran said that textile machinery manufacturers had exports of 750 million dollars in 2018, while the Turkish textile industry imported 1.9 billion dollars\u2019 worth of machinery. Dalgak\u0131ran noted that acting together, textile and machinery manufacturers, have set their aim\u2019s first stage; the import of 500 million dollars of textile machinery through domestic facilities. In this respect, the importance of developing cross-sectoral projects to effectively utilize public R&amp;D and localization support programs was mentioned.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>MAKFED and TEMSAD<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was stated that favouring Turkish textile machines with competitive power as quality, technology and price would have a positive effect on the foreign trade deficit at the meeting. The equal growth and development of both industries would affect each other positively. Organization of TEMSAD pioneered B2B meetings were decided; in leading textile production cities such as Istanbul Bursa, Gaziantep, Denizli, and Kahramanmara\u015f.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MAKFED was founded in order to contribute to the advancement of Turkish machinery manufacturing industry with other sub-sectors; to increase global competitiveness and to increase cooperation among sectors.
