St\u00e4ubli had two booths at ITMA Barcelona where they presented a selection of their latest products from their extensive range of textile machinery to textile professionals and investors. St\u00e4ubli exhibited their machines in working condition in the weaving hall which attracted great attention; they are known for their core competencies in shedding machines (cam motions, rotary dobbies and Jacquard machines) and weaving preparation (drawing-in, leasing and warp tying).<\/p>\n

Fritz Legler, Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Service at St\u00e4ubli gave information about new solutions<\/a> and applications at the press conference held at the exhibition. Legler then walked around the booth with the press members showing the products one by one, and both explained their work and answered questions from journalists. Legler underscored that St\u00e4ubli offers new and improved high performance systems and solutions for the processing of highly complex technical textiles<\/a>, as well as solutions for fashion, home textiles, automotive, protection fabrics and carpets.<\/p>\n

Legler; \u201cAs St\u00e4ubli, we have provided a comprehensive overview of the range of solutions for future weaving mills and socks knitting systems. These solutions are fully consistent with the company’s vision of transforming high-tech mechatronics into attractive products, services and solutions that meet customers’ requirement. Legler underlined that ITMA 2019, where sales contracts were concluded and new business opportunities emerged, was very successful for St\u00e4ubli, their customers and business partners.<\/p>\n

St\u00e4ubli solutions that make weaving more efficient and profitable<\/strong><\/h2>\n

During the ITMA Barcelona, St\u00e4ubli showed their visitors the vision of Industry 4.0 and how this development offers a chance to further intensify customer and partner relationships. Visitors also had the opportunity to learn how St\u00e4ubli’s machinery and systems can improve the weaving performance and overall productivity of their production facilities. St\u00e4ubli machines represent a long-term and valuable investment that offers an attractive return on investment with a longer service life of the equipment, the ability to supply long-term spare parts and a fast, comprehensive service worldwide. Some of the prominent products in the weaving hall are as follows;<\/p>\n

New St\u00e4ubli TIEPRO warp tying machine<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This new machine features extremely fine mechanical precision supported by high-performance digital technology. Weavers profit from the unique yarn separation process, the auto-reverse function, and automatic double-end detection.<\/p>\n

SAFIR S60 automatic drawing-in system with Active Warp Control<\/strong><\/h3>\n

St\u00e4ubli\u2019s exclusive yarn-repeat management system; known as AWC, is an ingenious technology that makes for more first-quality output; and boosts the overall productivity of the weaving department.<\/p>\n

New <\/strong>St\u00e4ubli <\/strong>S1792 cam motion for air-jet applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This high-speed cam motion features 10 levers and uses the new e32\/e33 harness motion for even higher performance.<\/p>\n

NOEMI, a revolutionary electronics concept<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The full range of LX\/LXL\/LXXL series of Jacquard machines for flat, terry, and velvet fabrics is now equipped with NOEMI; a new electronics concept. Compact, reliable, and suited to very large format machinery; NOEMI meets the requirements for high-speed weaving and handling the very high number of hooks to be lifted.<\/p>\n

NEW N4L name selvedge Jacquard machine<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Easy positioning over the whole reed width; re-engineered quick links for quick style changes; and robust construction with Jacquard heads protected by aluminium beams are just three of the many advantages; offered by this new machine for name selvedge weaving. It is an ideal way for weavers and haute couture brands to protect their valuable woven fabrics.<\/p>\n

ALPHA 500 Series<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With its Sch\u00f6nherr carpet systems; St\u00e4ubli showed a machine featuring two LX2493 carpet Jacquard heads; a new model of the UNIVAL 500 series of frame shedding machines handling 6 pile colors; a 4+4 weft selector, and various other interesting options. In a dedicated room, visitors observed how innovation, automation, and digitization support increased carpet output. The exhibit was completed by a carpet slider which allowed visitors; to explore the many design possibilities offered by the flexibility of ALPHA machines. Visitors could also touch and feel a variety of carpet qualities, including a high-density carpet; displaying a very sharp image of the Sagrada Familia cathedral with more than 4 million points\/m2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

TF weaving system for technical fabrics<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The St\u00e4ubli TF weaving system was set up in another dedicated area where the collection of technical carpet samples; illustrated the broad range of possibilities this system offers in weaving ultra-complex fabrics.<\/p>\n

D4S automatic toe-closing device<\/strong><\/h3>\n
