Turkey Home Textile Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TETS\u0130AD) President Hasan H\u00fcseyin Bayram and association board members visited Denizli Chamber of Commerce (DTO<\/a>) President Ugur Erdo\u011fan. Erdo\u011fan said that they made important contributions for the textile<\/a> sector as Denizli Chamber of Commerce; \u201cWe are realizing the 5 million euro technical textile project \u2018Technical Textile Transformation Project in Denizli\u2019 soon\u201d. Erdo\u011fan announced that for the first time in the history of Denizli, they took the association members to the German Heimtextil fair in Frankfurt on a technical study business trip with the support of KOSGEB.<\/p>\n

Technical textiles will grow rapidly with the technical textile project<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Indicating that the textile and apparel industry first comes to mind when one thinks about Denizli, Erdo\u011fan emphasized that they, as DTO, approach themselves differently to this industry. Reminding that they started the Technical Textile Transformation project in Denizli, which is supported by 5 million Euro grant from European Union funds, Erdo\u011fan said: \u201cIn terms of grant amount, our project is a first in Denizli history. Our centre, where we set up a 1000 square meter closed area in our Denizli Organized Industrial Zone, will be the first in terms of content and operation. Willing entrepreneurs will be able to work in this centre and produce samples for innovative products. Parts of products such as planes, helicopters, drones, yachts, cars, skis and guitars will be available to manufacture\u201d.<\/p>\n

In 2018, \u2018Technical Textiles Transformation Roadmap Workshop in Denizli\u2019 was organized by DTO. Within the scope of this project, which continues with the support of the EU and the State, a modern machine park will be created in a closed area of one thousand square meters in the OIZ, where the focus will be on advanced technology production. In addition to technical textiles, this centre will also include applications for functional fabric manufacturing and plasma technologies.<\/p>\n

Chamber Members taken to Heimtextil fair<\/strong><\/h2>\n

DTO President U\u011fur Erdo\u011fan stated that the fairs came in first place among their biggest activities. Noting that KOSGEB is their biggest supporter in this regard, Erdo\u011fan said; \u201cWith the support of our state and the contribution of our chamber, we took our members to the German Technical Review and Business Trip for the first time in Denizli to see the Heimtextil fair in Frankfurt. We have similar supports in other sectors. Our goal is to increase the business of our members and contribute more to our country’s economy\u201d.<\/p>\n

TETS\u0130AD President Hasan H\u00fcseyin Bayram congratulated DTO President U\u011fur Erdo\u011fan for his contribution to the sector.
