Durak Tekstil, Turkey\u2019s largest industrial sewing and embroidery thread manufacturer<\/a>, sponsored the first edition of the Fashion Tech \u0130zmir<\/a> ready-to-wear, apparel and textile machinery, textile printing technologies fair, which will be held at the fuarizmir fair<\/a> area on September 15-17. Providing full support to the fair to be organized by \u0130ZFA\u015e and \u0130ZG\u0130 Fuarc\u0131l\u0131k, Durak Tekstil aims to contribute to the growth of the Turkish textile and clothing industries and to increase its competitive power in the global market. Fashion Tech and the textile, ready-to-wear suppliers and technologies fair Fashion Prime will host their visitors simultaneously in the same area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durak Tekstil Board Member and Marketing Director Yi\u011fit Durak drew attention to the importance of the first sectoral event to be held in \u0130zmir after a long break due to the pandemic. Durak; \u201cWe believe that the Fashion Tech \u0130zmir will be a platform for us to meet with manufacturers operating in the region and will contribute to the revival of the clothing and fashion industry, which has slowed down due to the pandemic. Important events of the textile and clothing industry have not been held for a year and a half due to the pandemic, and we feel the absence. We are very happy to support the resumption of these events, which enable the industry to meet and renew its strength\u201d. Saying \u201cTurkey is a brand in the global textile industry as a country\u201d, Yi\u011fit Durak reminded that Turkey is in a very competitive position with its production capacity, material and know-how. Durak continued his words as follows; \u201cThe Turkish textile industry represents trust all over the world with its machinery, fabrics, materials and designed products. As Durak Tekstil, we have determined to increase the brand value of both our country and our company as the most important mission. We created our production and investment strategies in-line with this mission and took the necessary steps\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stating that they carry out production in Bursa, one of the most important stops of the historical Silk Road, Durak also reminded that \u0130zmir has an important history in terms of trade. Durak noted that the two cities, which are the centres of production on the one hand and trade on the other, have a long history of cooperation; \u201cWe reach every point of our country with our high production and service quality. Yi\u011fit Durak indicated that the simultaneous organization of Fashion Prime and Fashion Tech in the same fair area will provide a unique experience for both participants and visitors, and emphasized that all components in the sector will be in communication and interaction in the same environment. Durak; \u201cThe support of the local government, the public and sectoral associations to both fairs is of great importance. Fairs to be held with this backing will add vitality to the sector in terms of seeing the latest technologies on the one hand and presenting new collections to buyers and the market on the other. In this way, the decision-making and production processes for the next year\u2019s creations will be accelerated.
