French textile equipment manufacturers will exhibit their digital and sustainable solutions in numerous different segments from spinning to finishing at ITM 2022<\/a> on June 14-18. France, the sixth textile equipment exporter worldwide, will bring together Industry 4.0 compatible machinery and equipment with the Turkish market. French Textile Equipment Manufacturers\u2019 Association (UCMTF<\/a>) Secretary General Christian Guinet explained his views on the Turkish market and the ITM 2022 in the interview with Textilegence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guinet reminded that ITM has not taken place since 2018 and travel restrictions have made direct contacts less frequent due to Covid-19 pandemic and stated that ITM 2022 is a major opportunity in this way. He disclosed that they are awaiting the new edition along with their Turkish customers with great impatience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

French textile equipment manufacturers focus on customer-oriented R&D<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Christian Guinet stated that the solutions of French textile equipment manufacturers, focusing on sustainability, Industry 4.0 and digitalization, will meet with the visitors at the exhibition<\/a>. He emphasized the importance of sustainable solutions<\/a> covering the whole textile value chain, pointing out that Industry 4.0 and digitalization are necessary to control costs and communicate both inside a company and, between companies, along the value chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guinet relayed that they remain focused on executing their strategies of customer-oriented R&D and global customer service saying; \u201cThese strategies enabled us to build strong momentum before the pandemic crisis and navigate through the crisis. They remain the right strategies to deliver balanced growth and value\u201d. Guinet emphasized the importance of the Turkish market for French textile equipment manufacturers and relayed that they have been active on the Turkish market for years and have developed real partnerships with many Turkish textile industrialists, including carpet manufacturers in Gaziantep. He expressed that their representatives and agents are full time on the spot to listen to the needs of their customers and focus their R&D to find solutions for them and that their marketing managers travel to T\u00fcrkiye and welcome their customers in their own factories and trial centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The French textile equipment manufacturers are well known for their long fibre spinning (wool, acrylic etc.), yarn twisting and control, space-dyeing, heat setting for carpet yarns, carpet systems, bleaching and hydro-extractor equipments, dyeing and finishing, felts and belts for finishing processes, precision machining and textile ERP solutions in the market.
