It is noted that 129 billion masks are used every month in the world in the statement made by the company <\/a>on the environmental effects of masks. It is stated that the amount of waste originating from masks in Europe is approximately 445 million per day according to estimates while relaying that these masks thrown into the sea can both cause injury and death to animals or turn into microplastics that harm aquatic life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
