It serves the spinning, confection and embroidery markets and supplies the world\u2019s largest sportswear brands. Ar\u0131k Bey stands for high quality and pursues one goal: turning cotton into perfection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After more than 20 years of trouble-free service, it was time to replace the installed Novibra NASA HPS 68 spindles on Ar\u0131k Bey\u2019s ring spinning machines G 30. The company investigated two options: keeping investment as low as possible and only replace the installed spindles or purchasing new machines from other spinning<\/a> machine manufacturers. The unrivalled technology from Novibra<\/a> coupled with the expert support from Rieter technicians were a game changer and convinced Ar\u0131k Bey to trust in Novibra and Rieter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first-ever spindle to run at 30 000 rpm \u2013 NASA HPS 68 \u2013 is famous for extending service periods, reducing noise levels, and ensuring maximum durability. Novibra\u2019s flagship and best-seller NASA HPS 68 has already convinced premium machine manufacturers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NASA HPS 68 appeared again as a clear fit for Ar\u0131k Bey. With outstanding lifetime and superior performance, the spindle proved to be right choice in the past and for the future. The customer was also eager to try CROCOdoff, Novibra\u2019s self-cleaning clamping crowns for autodoffing machines to further increase production, optimize energy saving and reduce cleaning efforts. Ar\u0131k Bey upgraded its existing Rieter ring spinning machines G 30 with Novibra NASA HPS 68 spindles with CROCOdoff. In addition, Br\u00e4cker TITAN rings and Suessen EliTe compacting system completed the upgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n

The right crown for every spindle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To leverage on its spindle portfolio, Novibra also provides an extensive range of clamping crowns for underwinding-free doffing. The primary goal is to boost customer competitiveness by ensuring low maintenance with maximum productivity. Based on the machine type, doffing system and raw material or yarn count, Novibra offers designs from replaceable EASYdoff to sturdy steel crowns and from SERVOgrip to self-cleaning CROCOdoff. For coarser yarn counts CROCOdoff Forte is recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Significant decrease in start-up end breaks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ring spinning machines G 30 have been set up for spindle wharve dia of Novibra standard 18.5 so that the spindle speed could be increased without additional load and high energy consumption of the machine itself. Thanks to CROCOdoff clamping crowns, the start-up end breaks per machine were reduced from 40 \u2013 45 to 15 \u2013 20 in average, when spinning 100% cotton, Ne 30 at 16 000 rpm. Additionally, the underwinding-free concept of CROCOdoff led to fewer operators and less maintenance. The machines do not need to be stopped anymore for the cleaning of the spindle catching area so operators can focus on tasks with greater added value. Arik Bey confirmed that since its installation, there has not been a need to clean the CROCOdoff. This is a huge benefit compared to traditional underwinding systems which require a monthly shut down of the machine for cleaning purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
