The international textile care industry will come together once again at Texcare 2024, one of the leading events<\/a> of the industry, to be held in Frankfurt on November 6-9. Hosted by Messe Frankfurt; the exhibition will showcase the latest technologies and solutions on main themes such as automation, energy and resources, circular economy and textile hygiene. More than 300 exhibitors from 30 countries are expected to present their innovations to an international audience of visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Messe Frankfurt Technology Exhibitions Vice President Kerstin Horaczek, German Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers Association (VDMA) Textile Care, Fabric and Leather Technologies (TFL) General Manager Elgar Straub and Messe Frankfurt Istanbul Senior Sales and Marketing Director Can Y\u00fcmer attended the press conference held by Messe Frankfurt Istanbul to share current information about the exhibition and the industry<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saying that Texcare provides the exchange of ideas that the industry urgently needs and that this will be an important driving force for the coming years, Kerstin Horaczek continued: \u201cWe are very pleased with the positive feedback we received from our participants. Companies from Europe, America and Asia will present the latest technologies in all product areas of textile care. We believe that Texcare 2024 is an event not to be missed for all representatives of the global laundry, cleaning and textile services industry\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Horaczek stated that the exhibition date was moved to autumn in line with the demand they received as a result of the survey they conducted among exhibitors and visitors in 2023. Indicating that the countries that provide the most participants to the event after Germany are Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, England, Spain, Switzerland, USA and T\u00fcrkiye, Horaczek noted that they expect more exhibitor and visitor interest from T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n\n\n

Textile care technologies market continues to develop<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Referring to the developing commercial relations between T\u00fcrkiye and Germany, Elgar Straub noted that there are positive developments in textile care. Sharing market data, Straub added that the market achieved continuous growth despite regional and periodic declines. \u201cBetween March 2023 and February 2024, order intake in the European TFL industry decreased by 17%, while sales increased by 10% in the same period. Based on the first three months of 2024, order intake decreased by 18%, while sales increased by 13%,\u201d he said. Relaying that European textile care technology exports increased by 8.6% to 1.726 billion euros in 2023, he explained that T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s exports in this segment increased by 31.8% to 115.6 million euros in the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expressing that the main challenges in the TFL sector are labour shortage, increasing energy costs, sustainability, ever-changing needs of consumers and authorities and global supply chain problems, Straub said that manufacturers are focusing on developing solutions at the points of automation and digitalization, product quality, flexibility and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only the innovative solutions of the participants will be exhibited, but the exhibition on November 6-9 will also turn into an important know-how network with different events to be organized.
