Proparco has announced a \u20ac70 million senior loan to RE&UP Recycling Technologies, the circulartech textile recycling venture of SANKO Group<\/a>. It is stated that this significant investment will enhance RE&UP\u2019s capacity to scale Next-Gen recycled fiber production while reducing both carbon and water footprints driving RE&UP to set a new standard for circularity in the textile<\/a> industry. Proparco, a subsidiary of the AFD Group focused on private sector development, provides funding and support to both businesses and financial institutions in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SANKO Group with over 120 years of industry experience remains a key partner for Proparco. The loan will support the construction of a new textile-to-textile recycling facility in Gaziantep, featuring 8.4MW rooftop solar panels for self-consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SANKO targets global market with \u2018RE&UP\u2019<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The holding, one of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s leading industrial groups, shared the happiness of reaching its 120th anniversary with the press members in Gaziantep. In the special press tour, SANKO Tekstil, which is one of the world\u2019s leading yarn manufacturers and has one of the largest installed solar panel energy systems in its sector, and the facilities of Super Film Ambalaj, which is the world\u2019s and Europe\u2019s leading flexible packaging film manufacturer, were visited with the participation of SANKO Holding Chairman Adil Sani Konuko\u011flu, SANKO Holding Board Member Cengiz Konuko\u011flu, Super Film Ambalaj Board Member \u0130zzet \u015eahin.<\/p>\n\n\n
