SASA announced in a statement to the Public Enlightenment Platform (KAP) that they completed the Textile Chips, Bottle Chips, Pet Chips Production Facility with MTR technology in the Adana campus with an investment cost of approximately 230 million USD and started commercial production as of April 30. The annual capacity of the facility of 330,000 tons is expected to contribute approximately 350 million USD to the turnover annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 3, 2025, SASA announced that its PTA production facility had started commercial production in order to meet the PTA needs arising from the capacity increase that will arise from both its existing facilities and its ongoing and planned investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company<\/a> is expected to commission its investment, which will house T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s first Low-Melt Fiber Production Facility, in the second half of 2025. It is stated that this investment will meet the raw material needs of nonwoven products used in the hygiene, furniture, textile and health sectors<\/a>, which are still completely dependent on foreign sources, with domestic production.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
