GAUN Textile Engineering Department faculty members Prof. Dr. Mehmet Topalbekiro\u011flu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil \u0130brahim \u0130\u00e7o\u011flu and Dr. Behzat Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m started a study to combine the stages such as opening, cleaning, carding, drawing, roving and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.textilegence.com\/en\/category\/spinning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">spinning<\/a> used in traditional yarn production in a single machine. As a result of the project supported under the T\u00dcB\u0130TAK 1001 program, a machine called &#8216;Electro-Sirospun&#8217; was produced.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The machine is expected to both save time and reduce costs in the production process, and it is aimed to create a significant transformation in the textile industry. In addition to contributing to the economy, the machine is expected to stand out with its export potential.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-machine-we-developed-is-seen-as-an-important-development-in-turkiye-and-also-internationally\"><strong>\u201cThe machine we developed is seen as an important development in T\u00fcrkiye and also internationally\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Mehmet Topalbekiro\u011flu stated in his statement to AA that this machine, which is the result of 5 years of intensive work, represents an important development in the field of nanotechnology. Explaining that as Gaziantep University academicians, they have developed a machine that can produce yarn from nanofibers with the Electro-Sirospun method, he said: \u201cThis system will make serious contributions to the scientific and technological development of our country.
