Speaking at the T\u0130M<\/a> Export Champions Award Ceremony, T\u0130M President Mustafa G\u00fcltepe underlined that access to financing is of critical importance for exporters and shared his financial support targets for this year and his evaluations on the subject.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Turkish Trade Bank, which we brought to our export family through Export Development Inc. (IGE), has started its operations. We aim for our bank to reach 15 branches by the end of the year and provide 62 billion liras of financing support to our exporters. Turkish Trade Bank will both facilitate exporters\u2019 access to financing and work as a strategic solution partner,\u201d said G\u00fcltepe, adding that they do not forget the support provided by the state in terms of financing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is of great importance that new projects are definitely put into operation\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

G\u00fcltepe stated that increasing the foreign exchange conversion support from 2 percent to 3 percent, reducing the cost of rediscount credits and increasing the daily limit to 4 billion liras are extremely important, and continued: \u201cHowever, in order to reach the size we desire in exports, increasing the foreign exchange conversion support, reducing the interest rates and increasing the limits in rediscount credits, and definitely putting into operation new projects that will allow our companies to access low-interest and long-term credits are of great importance.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that they do not forget that there are opportunities in periods of increasing uncertainty, and underlined that, above all, they should not lose their competitiveness in order to benefit from the opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top 1000 exporters realized 51 percent of total goods exports<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the ceremony, the companies that made the highest contribution to T\u00fcrkiye’s total goods and services exports of 377 billion USD in 2024 were awarded. It was stated that T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Top 1000 Exporters realized 51 percent of total goods exports and 30 percent of services exports. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
