In China, the textile industry\u2019s emissions intensity decreased by 60% from 2005 \u2013 2022, and by a further 14% from 2022 \u2013 2024. Reflecting exhibitors\u2019 eagerness to attract eco-conscious buyers from China and beyond,&nbsp;Intertextile&nbsp;Apparel\u2019s dedicated zone for sustainability,&nbsp;Econogy&nbsp;Hub, increased in scale by over 60% between the 2024 and 2025 Autumn Editions. At the upcoming Spring Edition, the zone will feature an open booth design as well as dedicated seminar and display areas. In addition, it is set to welcome a range of innovative textile suppliers and testing and certification institutions.&nbsp;Econogy&nbsp;Hub will be supplemented by the&nbsp;Econogy&nbsp;Finder, a convenient means for visitors to&nbsp;locate&nbsp;sustainable suppliers across the fairground.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Industry innovation tends to be directed towards sustainable&nbsp;endeavours, and the AI trend is no exception \u2013 as it is already reshaping the supply chain in meaningful ways, such as reducing wastage in production, allowing for earlier detection of defects, and&nbsp;optimising&nbsp;stock levels to prevent surplus. At the enhanced Innovation &amp; Digital Solutions Zone and its complementary seminar series, exhibitors at&nbsp;Intertextile&nbsp;Shanghai Apparel Fabrics \u2013 Spring Edition 2026 will&nbsp;showcase&nbsp;a range of AI-related and&nbsp;cutting-edge&nbsp;technologies with textile applications. The zone\u2019s&nbsp;previous&nbsp;exhibitors included the likes of&nbsp;AiDLab, HKRITA, and Shima Seiki, who&nbsp;were enthused&nbsp;with its&nbsp;favourable&nbsp;position and ability to connect them with new, relevant buyers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many suppliers are making significant efforts to attract the next generation of customers. Generation Z is more interconnected than&nbsp;previous&nbsp;consumers, and as such, Chinese-style clothing trends have transcended the domestic fashion scene to reach international markets. Next spring, this could potentially lead to interesting business opportunities for fashion-forward exhibitors at Accessories Vision, Beyond Denim, Essential Suits &amp; Shirts, Premium Wool Zone,&nbsp;SalonEurope, and Verve for Design. Meanwhile, suppliers at Functional Lab will be eager to take advantage of the developing&nbsp;athleisure&nbsp;trend, which has evolved towards more utilitarian, functional&nbsp;styles&nbsp;and outfits.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fair is co-organised&nbsp;by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and the China Textile Information Centre.
