At the fair, to be held on June 9\u201313 at the Istanbul T\u00fcyap Fair and Congress Center, Mayer M\u00fcmessillik will present a selection from Mayer &amp; Cie.\u2019s current product portfolio at booth 303B in hall 3. The presentation will also include some of the brand\u2019s latest machines. Xu Hongjie, the future owner of Mayer &amp; Cie., will also be present at the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cITM is one of the most important trade fairs in the textile machinery industry,\u201d says Stefan B\u00fchler. The long-standing Area Sales Manager has recently rejoined the Mayer &amp; Cie. successor company. He adds: \u201cAccordingly, Mayer &amp; Cie.\u2019s participation in ITM 2026 carries significant importance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-at-least-two-circular-knitting-machines-will-be-featured-at-the-mayer-mumessillik-booth\">At least two circular knitting machines will be featured at the Mayer M\u00fcmessillik booth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers and visitors will have the opportunity to explore a selection of the current product portfolio. The future owner of Mayer &amp; Cie., Xu Hongjie will also be present at ITM 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have always been convinced of the excellent engineering and technology of Mayer &amp; Cie. machines,\u201d says Kahraman G\u00fcveri, partner at Mayer M\u00fcmessillik. G\u00fcveri welcomes that Mayer &amp; Cie. has found an investor and sees great potential in the restart: \u201cThe future owner combines German textile machinery tradition with a global mindset and an agile management philosophy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-transaction-to-be-formally-completed-by-the-end-of-the-month\">The transaction to be formally completed by the end of the month<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The company is approaching the final stage of its transition, with all required regulatory approvals now secured from both German and Chinese authorities, paving the way for the formal closing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mayer &amp; Cie. initiated insolvency proceedings in December 2025. In February 2026, Xu Hongjie, a member of the family that owns Huixing, acquired the circular knitting business.
