Recover™, one of the leading materials science companies and large-scale producer of recycled cotton, has launched Recover™ One, a new fiber blend range made entirely from recycled materials. Developed to support the textile industry’s move toward greater circularity, the new offering combines Recover recycled cotton with recycled polyester to produce soft, smooth and high-performance fabrics suitable for a variety of end uses.
The Recover One range is available in ready-to-spin blends with cotton-polyester ratios tailored to different applications. Delivering the durability and comfort associated with conventional cotton-polyester blends, the material also aims to reduce environmental impact while simplifying production processes for spinners.
Supplied either as a consistent, color-ready blend for spinning or as finished fabric through Recover’s supply chain partners, Recover One can be used in applications including single jersey, French terry and fleece fabrics.
Advanced blending for consistent color performance
Recover utilizes an advanced intimate blending process that combines the original colors of textile waste feedstocks with color-matched, dope-dyed recycled polyester fibers. The approach enables greater control over blend accuracy and color consistency, resulting in a uniform material that is ready for spinning.
By matching the colors of recycled inputs during production, Recover One removes the need for downstream overdyeing processes. This helps reduce processing time, environmental impact and material costs, providing spinners and brands with a more cost-effective alternative to conventional recycled cotton blends. The range is available in solid, heather and mélange options.
Supporting scalable adoption of recycled materials
“With Recover One, we are making it easier for brands and manufacturers to use recycled materials at scale. By combining our recycled cotton with recycled polyester, we deliver a consistent blend that simplifies production and helps reduce costs. This brings sustainability and business value together,” said Enes Adak, Co-CEO and Chief Product Officer of Recover.
Recover One builds on the environmental benefits associated with Recover recycled cotton while enabling additional reductions through the elimination of overdyeing. According to Recover’s life-cycle assessments conducted for Spain and Bangladesh and verified by EcoReview in 2022 and 2025, Recover recycled cotton fiber can reduce water consumption by up to 99.9% and carbon emissions by up to 93% compared with conventional cotton fiber.
As demand for recycled materials continues to grow, driven by evolving legislation and brand commitments, Recover™ positions Recover One as a scalable solution that combines environmental performance with practical business benefits.
