Textile Auxiliary Materials
From fibre to final product, textile manufacturing covers many different stages. There are different technologies. Throughout this successive chain, auxiliary materials and processes are included; amongst the main stages. In addition to general chemicals such as; Caustic, Soda, Acetic Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, textile auxiliaries and enzymes that are developed with a special formula; for a specific purpose in textile production are the first ones that come to mind. These materials find their way through pre-production to finishing. There are many international and local manufacturers in the field of textile chemicals and enzymes; most of which are surface active materials.
The other categories of auxiliary materials are laboratory materials and quality-control units. Several tests are required throughout the entire process to achieve the desired quality and standards in the final products. For the process from fibre to final product packaging, companies perform these tests both in their own and in contracted places. Quality and control units, which have become an integral part of spinning mills and weaving facilities, contribute to raising the quality with new standards.
Uster Technologies, Loepfe Brothers, Datacolors, James Heal, Mesdan, SDS Atlas, Textechno and Mahlo can be listed as important companies in quality control and testing equipment in textile.
