Epson Will Launch New Product in Sign Istanbul 2016

Developing digital printing solutions for many industries including for textile, sign and art applications, EPSON is participating in Sign Istanbul with booths of two business partners, Lidya Group and Tecpro Information Technologies. EPSON will also launch a new rewarded product during the event.

EPSON is a trend setter as it develops innovative technologies in digital printing from printing head to inks, while it plans to exhibit solutions for a wide industrial area during Sign Istanbul 2016. The company will display its technologies towards the segments of textile, interior decoration, outdoor advertising and signboard, art printing and professional photography.

EPSON Turkey Pro Graphic Channel Manager Özgür Özata stated their plan to display large format inkjet printing systems which offer highest quality and efficiency as well as fast investment feedback with a wide range of value added and creative applications. Underlining that they are assertively preparing for the event, Özata said they will take place in the fair with booths of their business partners: Lidya Group and Tecpro Information Technologies. He also added that both Lidya and Tecpro will promote campaigns with very attractive payment terms during the event.

Özata shared details about their prominent products to be exhibited during Sign Istanbul, saying that the new generation SureColor S Series, which was launched in January, will be displayed with new formulation GS3 ink set. He continued, “In SureColor S series, you can chose 3 different printers between 4-10 colors in which there are red, orange, white and silver. Printers are able to print up to 95.3 meter square/hour with various quality modes matching with all applications.”

SureColor SC-S Machines: 50% more advantageous than latex

Epson SureColor SC-S printers offer a power saving of up to 4 times when compared to latex technology. It provides 15% less ink consumption compared to the previous SureColor generation. This technology is 50% more advantageous with respect to latex technology in terms of substrate and quality.

About their textile solutions, Özata mentioned, “All our models that will be displayed in sublimation printing for textile industry have PrecisionCore TFP printing head and high density black ink UltraCrome DS. Our new generation sublimation printers achieved great success. We had entered the market in 2013 as Epson and we have manufacturered 11.000 printers so far on a global scale. We are among leading players of the market now.”

EPSON will launch new SureColor SC-P20000 for the first time in Turkish market while the machine was awarded as the “Best Photographic Printer” by European Digital Press Association during Drupa Fair. Özata further said, “SureColor SC-P20000 64 inch and SC-P10000 44 inch printers are ideal for commercial printing companies, copy centers, photo labs and printing centers. The model is proper for large format POS graphs, short term interior and outdoor signs, exhibition and exposure signs, promotional signs and photos. Epson’s PrecisionCore MicroTFP printing head provides 2400 x 1200 dpi solubility. Among other features within this strong design, there are extremely volatile media feeding technology, completely newly developed camera based paper feeding stabilizator and media inductive roll system.

Özata: 2016 is a tough year, but we should sustain growth

2016 will obviously be a tough year for all industries due to the recent incidents, while growth rates may see some drops. Özata commented, “However, we should continue to grow. We have not revised our target about that. We believe that the market will start to revive along with starting autumn season and particularly Sign Istanbul.”
