Fibers and spinning are at the top of the textile process. The main component of all of the textile and woven textile products are yarns; while in technical textiles and nonwoven products, the basic product is the fibers which are connected by different methods. Yarns are produced by twisting different natural and artificial fibers into a single type or blend using different techniques. The fibers are bent by entanglement on an axis. Different stages and different technologies have been developed for this process. Ring, rotor (open-end) and air-jet technologies are widely used in spinning today.
There are bale opener, blending, draw frame, combing and roving machines in the fiber preparation department where the fiber is prepared for spinning. These machines give the fiber the required properties and form for spinning. The blowroom machine takes the cotton from the bales and runs continuously until the carding process. The fiber from the blow-out process is in batt or pellet form, and still contains mixed and foreign substances. It is necessary to remove the foreign matter from the fibers and smooth the fibers. Combing machines just does that. Fiber is combed here to a clean state and becomes gauze or tape.
European brands such as Rieter, Marzoli, Trützschler and Savio operate globally when it comes to spinning preparation and fiber bending systems. These companies, which develop their own technologies, provide innovative solutions for many stages from fiber to finished yarn to yarn manufacturers.
