EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform is officially launched

TopicalEU Textiles Ecosystem Platform is officially launched

-News Sponsor -

Today, the European Commission officially launched the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform. This is a new digital space designed to support stakeholders across the textiles ecosystem towards increased sustainability, digitalisation, competitiveness and resilience.

The event offered a guided tour through this new platform, and participants got a sneak peek into how platform users can initiate discussions, publish articles, engage with the content provided, discover the right opportunities, funding information, and network effectively. The discussion explored how the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform can best support its members and ecosystem stakeholders.

Industry stake holders meet at EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform

Presented at the launch event on May16 with contributions from across the ecosystem, the platform offers easy access to key information; a space to connect and engage in discussions with other industry stakeholders; networking and peer learning opportunities; interactive workshops and webinars, and more.

Stakeholders are encouraged to register and join early to help steer the platform. It can be signed up at any time.

The EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform was created as part of the EU Transition Pathways Platform project. It was built following the publication of the Transition Pathway for the Textiles Ecosystem.

The European Commission published the Transition Pathway for the Textiles Ecosystem in June 2023 – a dynamic roadmap to make the textiles ecosystem greener, more digital, resilient, and competitive.
