Swiss-based UV printing specialist swissQprint, represented in Türkiye by Pigment Reklam, gave visitors plenty to discover at FESPA Global Print Expo 2025. swissQprint’s new generation of flatbed printers, launched earlier this year, were met with great excitement at the exhibition. swissQprint’s Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer, Carmen Eicher, explained that it was only a short time from the launch presentation to the first orders arriving and deliveries to all five continents have been underway since January.”
Tangible benefits of the Generation 5 Series: increased speed and higher productivity
The most impressive aspect of the models in the series is the 23% increase in printing speed. Print professionals can reach a maximum speed of 341 m2/hour on the models in this series without compromising on quality. Furthermore, the new flatbed generation has 10 freely configurable color channels, allowing more applications with a single machine. To meet the individual requirements of print service providers, swissQprint offers three models in this series, all of them built on a completely redesigned, modular foundation: Kudu, Nyala (both 3.2×2 m) and Impala (2.5×2 m).

Inspiring application worlds
In addition to the live print presentations of the Kudu and Nyala models, the theme-specific application worlds at the swissQprint booth took visitors on inspiring journeys of discovery. In particular, neon prints as well as the tactile and visual effects produced by swissQprint flatbed and roll-to-roll printers were of great interest.
Roll-to-roll printer with unique features
On the stand was a Karibu 2 as representative of swissQprint’s roll to roll printer line. Beyond exceptional applications and characteristic swissQprint high quality, this 3.4-metre-wide UV roll to roll printer adds high efficiency to the mix. This is not least due to the cassette system for quick and easy roll handling, the Mesh Kit integrated in the print bed for clean full bleed and mesh printing, and the dual roll option for optimum productivity with narrow rolls.
36-month factory warranty and high return on investment
Katharina Vogt, in charge of digital printing at declaro Beschriftungs GmbH in Germany, said that with swissQprint, we save over 20,000 euros a year. This comes down in particular to modest maintenance requirements and reliability – which swissQprint backs up with a 36-month factory warranty on every model in their range. Besides this, the printers draw as little power as an ordinary electric kettle, namely an average of 2.2 kWh. The Swiss printers are just as interesting in terms of revenue pulling power. Thanks to their productivity, quality and exceptional capabilities, they generate very high added value.

SwissQprint’s innovations honored with two EDP Awards
swissQprint has received two EDP Awards, one for the company’s 5th Generation Nyala flatbed printer and the other for pyramid printing, a technique that creates images with amazing colour change effects. The jury of the prestigious EDP Awards honoured two swissQprint products in the award ceremony on 8 May 2025 during the FESPA Global Print Expo in Berlin.
Nyala 5 – flatbed printer
In the ‘Large & Wide Format Printing’ award category, swissQprint’s flagship Nyala model emerged as ‘Best Flatbed/Hybrid 150-400 m²/h’. swissQprint launched the fifth generation of the 3.2×2m flatbed printer in January of this year. It features a completely new mechanical foundation for even greater stability and precision, increased productivity (max. 253 m²/h) and 10 colour channels for maximum versatility. The jury described the printer as unique in this speed class, not least because of the roll to roll option that enables it to handle roll material in addition to rigid media.
