Lidya Grup Made A Digital Show at FESPA Eurasia 2016

One of the most important suppliers of digital printing technologies, Lidya Grup made virtually a show at FESPA Eurasia 2016 it attended. Exhibiting its Xerox, Epson and EFI brand printing machines, Lidya Grup succedded to attract visitors’ interest.

Attending to the last meeting point of printing industry; FESPA Eurasia 2016 in a very prepared way, Lidya Grup; showed its market dominance at the fair with Xerox, Epson and EFI brands. A rich product range for printing on various medias such as photograph, solid surface, indoor and outdoor printing was demonstrated at the firm’s booth. EFI’s Vutek GS 5500 Lxr-Pro 5 meters, 7 picolitre LED-UV printing machine’s launch in Turkish market took place at Lidya Grup’s booth.

Epson’s P20000 printing machine achieving photograph quality, using PrecisionCore micro TFP print head, was given place at Lidya Grup’s booth as well.  Visitors also observed Epson B series, printing with 7 times less cost than its competitiors in high quality with its inks sold for 50 Euro a litre, in detail.

Bekir Öz: FESPA Eurasia Was Efficient For Us

Stating that they attended to FESPA Eurasia 2016 with the products for various segments of the three brands they presented in Turkish market, Lidya Grup Board Chairman Bekir Öz, defended that they preented the most valued machinery series at fair’s value level. Öz made these statements about the fair; “The fair’s overall attendence could have been higher. The negative impacts of the latest incidents occured in our country were felt in general. As Lidya Grup, we hosted our expected guests and realized 70% of our goals. It seems like both December’s business volume and our country’s economical situation made a negative impact on fair’s attendence. However, as all the fairs we attented, we hosted a very rich customer range here, too. Our customers tested our new machines, demo printing were made. As a result, I can say that attendence to FESPA Eurasia was efficient for Lidya Grup.”

Reminding that 2 EFI products were presented at their booth, Bekir Öz remarked that presented for the first time, Vutek GS 5500 Lxr-Pro with 750 thousand dollars of sales value, made a difference on its segment. Öz said; “We are presenting the most ideal wide format solution for customers wanting high capacity and quality. With the impact of this launch, we foresee that this machine will be more popular after the fair.”

Textile Printing Is Added to The Product Portfolio

Lidya Grup leading agency of EFI, acquired the sales authorisation of EFI’s soft signage(textile sign)solutions as well. Consequently, EFI’s digital printing solutions will be presented by Lidya in addition to digital printing sector’s solutions. Bekir Öz said these words about the subject; “Digital textile printing market is a very significant area growing very rapidly. Currently, digital technologies in textile sector has a small share like 2-3%, but this ratio is foreseen to increase up to 50%. Since Turkey is a big textile country, as Lidya Grup we are taking our place at this segment with EFI’s soft signage solutions. We wish to adapt our printing experience to this market possessing an important potential. The first product presentations will start from the second quarter of 2017.”

Growing 50% in 2016, Lidya Grup Aims 25% Growth in 2017

Stating that despite all the challenges occured at the market in the ending 2016 year, Lidya Grup realized 50% growth, Bekir Öz explained that they aim 25% growth in 2017 which is higher than the general growth of the market once again. Öz continued thusly; “Many of the risks existing in the market in 2016 are still valid in 2017 as well. The questions about the economical stability have not been answered yet. We are working with looking at the bright side. Our county has an important potential and desire to grow. We are planning our projects growth-oriented.”

Underlining that they are not a traditional agent, Bekir Öz reported that as a solution partner; they support customers with their own flexible finance models.
