Mavi, the well-known apparel and denim brand in Türkiye, announced that it will establish a fully-owned subsidiary in the US named “Mavi US Retail LLC”. Mavi Jeans, Inc. will continue to carry out its commercial operations in the US, while the new company will support the commercial operations carried out by Mavi Jeans, Inc. by engaging in leasing, decoration and marketing activities. 

“In order to strengthen the Company’s operational capabilities in the US in line with its global growth strategy, the Board of Directors has decided to establish a 100% subsidiary company named “Mavi US Retail LLC” to be headquartered in New York, USA and to authorize the Company management for the establishment procedures.  

Mavi Jeans, Inc. will continue to carry out its commercial operations in the US and the newly established company, Mavi US Retail LLC, will support the commercial operations carried out by Mavi Jeans, Inc. by engaging in leasing, decoration and marketing activities.” 

Mavi reaches customers in 34 countries

Founded in 1991 in Istanbul under the name Mavi Jeans, Mavi first expanded into the US and Europe in 1996.  

The company, which went public in 2017, meets its customers in 34 countries, including Türkiye, the USA, Canada, Germany and Russia, through retail, wholesale and online channels at approximately 4,000 points, 485 of which are Mavi shops. Mavi’s market positioning is in the upper middle and premium segment of ready-to-wear clothing.  

In 2024, the company took an important step in its globalization journey with the launch of mavi.com in the Gulf and European markets.
