The Topi 5 and Oryx 5 UV-LED flatbed printers are designed for users with small to medium production volumes and high-quality requirements. Both models complement the Generation 5, delivering the renowned swissQprint quality and reliability.
Meeting the highest demands for quality, versatility and reliability, the Topi 5 is designed as the ideal model for uncompromising print professionals handling small to medium-sized jobs. With an output capacity of up to 126 m²/h, this flatbed printer features a 3.2×2 m print area. Oryx 5, the 2.5 m wide counterpart, increases its output by 26 percent over its predecessor, reaching up to 114 m²/h. Both new models feature roll to roll printing options, ensuring maximum versatility and enabling highly precise output.
Commenting on the launch of the two new models, Carmen Eicher, Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer at swissQprint, said the company now offers a harmonized product portfolio tailored to businesses of every size. “Oryx 5 and Topi 5 are aimed at users with high quality standards and small to medium print volumes,” Eicher noted.
For those with higher-volume needs, the Swiss manufacturer offers the Impala, Nyala and Kudu flatbed models, with outputs of up to 341 m²/h.

Designed to meet lower production levels and competitive pricing needs, Topi 5 and Oryx 5 nevertheless offer the same advantages as the other high-volume Generation 5 models. For maximum productivity, the ten colour channels can be freely configured – including options such as neon, orange, varnish or primer. The printers deliver high-precision output with resolutions up to 1350 dpi. Like the other Generation 5 flatbed printers, both new models are built on a new foundation that incorporates state-of-the-art linear drives for maximum precision and speed.
Modular design and high reliability for new printing opportunities
All swissQprint flatbed printers feature a wide range of add-on options that expand the application spectrum for print professionals. This modular approach enables users to configure their printer according to needs and add new features later. Options include roll to roll and dual roll, oversize board handling for rigid media up to 4 metres long, or the collector paper option that eliminates cleaning work for operators doing regular full bleed printing. In addition, swissQprint offers various ink sets for different applications, and colour channels can also be retrofitted or converted after installation.
