The Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises list (ISO 500 and ISO Second 500) has been published by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry since 1968. Initially launched with 100 companies, it has gradually expanded to include 1,000 firms over time and continues to serve as a traditional benchmark study.
The list provides a key reference for tracking the development of the industrial sector. Rankings are based on production-based net sales. Production-based sales exclude goods purchased and resold without processing (commercial goods). In addition to production-based net sales, companies are also ranked according to other indicators such as net sales, exports, and employment figures in the published lists.
