Zimmer Austria is preparing to showcase its latest printing solutions address to da wide range from defense to fashion and automotive at ITMA + CITME Singapore 2025. At Booth B203 and B203a in Hall 6, Zimmer’s team of experts will be there to present cutting-edge solutions in textile coating, screen and digital printing technology and to engage with industry professionals from across the globe.
Josef Osl the GM Marketing at ZIMMER AUSTRIA explaines what surprises awaits the visitors at Zimmer’s booth as follows: “Our booth concept reflects our vision: innovation with purpose. It will be designed as an interactive and immersive space, highlighting sustainable printing technologies, energy-efficient systems, and the latest developments in digital and screen printing as well as coating machinery. And visitors can also expect a bold new design supporting our brands.”
ITMA + CITME Singapore 2025 also will be the scene for the Zimmer’s comprehensive range of eco-friendly solutions in line with the evolving EU regulations and global demand for green technologies. “Our machines are engineered to reduce water, energy, and chemical consumption, and are fully compatible with sustainable inks and fabrics. Moreover, our commitment extends beyond machinery: we support customers with process optimization and lifecycle management to ensure their production remains compliant and future-proof” Osl says.
“The point is balancing performance with sustainability without compromising on quality”
Josef Osl pointed out that the green transition is a necessity, not a trend — but it comes with challenges, saying for the textile and digital printing industries, the shift requires rethinking production processes, ink chemistry, and supply chain logistics. “For us as a machine manufacturer, the biggest challenge is balancing performance with sustainability without compromising on quality or cost-efficiency. However, we see this as an opportunity: our R&D focuses on innovative materials, smarter workflows, and energy-efficient technologies that meet both regulatory and ecological demands,” he comments.

Zimmer is expanding its expertise day by day from fashion to home textiles
Zimmer Austria has made a name for itself in recent years with solutions developed through R&D to meet specific demands for camouflage printing. Josef Osl says that they continue to innovate in that field, however, their expertise is expanding rapidly into fashion, home textiles, and technical textiles such as automotive and medical applications. He underlined that Zimmer’s technologies are adaptable across multiple segments, allowing them to serve a broader customer base with customized solutions.
Zimmer has a great and diverse customer range across the global market, mainly includes Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East. Their established markets aside Europe include Türkiye, the Indian Sub-Continent, China, and the USA, while they are actively targeting growth in Southeast and Central Asia, Africa, and Latin America. “These regions are showing strong demand for sustainable and digital production technologies, and we see great potential in supporting their industrial development,” Osl says.
Not just cost-effective, but long-term value-driven
When we ask him, by reminding of that the Asian market has become more price-focused due to rising costs, what advantages they provide in this sense, he answered: “Our goal is to offer high-performance solutions with a strong return on investment — not just cost-effective, but long-term value-driven. Zimmer’s advantages lie in our engineering excellence, durable technology, low operational cost, and a strong service and support network in Europe, the US and Asia. We believe these strengths allow us to build lasting partnerships even in price-sensitive environments.”
Osl concluded his statement by a strong message on the exhibition: “We’re excited to return to Singapore for ITMA + CITME 2025 and to connect with textile professionals from all over the world. At Zimmer, we believe that the future of textile production is increasingly digital, sustainable, and collaborative — and we are committed to leading this transformation. We invite all visitors to explore how our innovations can shape their future success.”
