International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from Turkish yarn manufacturer Göliplik Şeremet Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. to deliver a complete WetlaceTM line to produce nonwovens for sustainable, flushable wipes.

The new production line will enable Göliplik to enter the nonwovens market with high-quality roll goods for flushable wipes. Made from natural, biodegradable fibers, these wipes have excellent tensile strength and dissolve quickly in sewage systems.

The state-of-the-art neXline wetlace line features advanced technology including stock preparation, approach flow system, wetlaid forming, hydroentanglement, and drying. Start-up is scheduled for the first half of 2027.

Erdogan Seremet, owner and president of Göliplik said that by investing in this new production line for flushable wipes, they are entering the promising nonwovens market: “With ANDRITZ as a leading technology supplier at our side, we are convinced that we can successfully expand our business, benefiting from ANDRITZ’s expertise and continuous developments.”

Founded in 1987 in Bursa, Göliplik Şeremet Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is one of the leading manufacturers of yarns. The company operates four facilities producing a wide range of blended yarns.
