The decline of the textile and apparel industry was reflected in the 2025 ISO 500 and ISO Second 500 rankings of Türkiye’s largest industrial enterprises. The number of textile and apparel companies in the ISO 500 stood at 29, while the ISO Second 500 included 75 companies from the sector. As a result, the total number of textile and apparel companies among Türkiye’s top 1,000 industrial enterprises declined to 104, bringing the sector’s share down to 10.4%.
The number of textile and apparel companies in the ISO Second 500 fell from 89 in 2024 to 75 in 2025. While the ranking included more than 100 companies from the sector in both 2019 and 2022, the figure declined to 87 in 2023, rose slightly to 89 in 2024, and dropped again to 75 in 2025. Meanwhile, the number of textile and apparel companies in the ISO 500 had already decreased from 32 to 29.

Five textile and apparel companies were added to the 2025 ISO Second 500 ranking: İpekyol Giyim Sanayi Pazarlama ve Ticaret A.Ş., Yünsa Yünlü San. ve Tic. A.Ş., Narteks Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş., Akcanlar Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and ZH Dış Ticaret A.Ş.
The top five textile and apparel companies in the ISO Second 500 ranking are Biska Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş., İskur Tekstil Enerji Tic. ve San. A.Ş., Üniteks Tekstil ve Ticaret A.Ş., Menderes Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and Aster Tekstil San. ve Dış Tic. A.Ş. Leading textile and apparel companies, including Çalık Denim, Zorluteks, Orta Anadolu, İpekyol and Penti, also featured in the ranking.
65 textile and apparel companies dropped out of the ISO 1000 over six years
Between 2019 and 2025, the number of textile and apparel companies included in the ISO 1000 declined from 169 to 104. As a result, 65 companies dropped out of the rankings over the six-year period, representing an overall decline of 38.5%.
The sector’s share in the ISO 1000 also decreased from 16.9% to 10.4%, a decline of 6.5 percentage points.
