DeFacto, one of the leading retail and clothing brands in Türkiye, is starting the era of experiential retailing in the retail sector. Breaking new ground in the retail sector in Türkiye with its new generation store concept that brings together fashion, technology and lifestyle, the brand highlights experience-oriented areas with its concept store established on an area of 4,000 square meters in Adana. In the store, each employee is also a style consultant and visitors find many different services where they can express themselves and feel good, from a pilates-yoga studio to a children’s playground, from product customization to outdoor coffee.

DeFacto CEO İhsan Ateş stated that the new generation store in Adana is not only a physical retail investment, but also an indicator of the brand’s strategic transformation on a global scale: “We focus on making our customers feel good and listen to their demands with an open ear. It was the expectations of our Gift Club members, who have reached 19 million, that sparked this revolutionary transformation in our merchandising model.”

Defining the new generation Adana store, the largest DeFacto store in Türkiye and the world, as a model where experience, technology and style are intertwined in the retail world, Ateş said: 

“Here, we offer our customers personalization, socialization, interaction with technology and inspiration beyond clothing. All of our staff in our stores are style consultants. They have received extensive training to equip them to offer style suggestions and guidance to our customers. Thus, we provide style consultancy services to all our customers who enter our stores. Every detail in our store, from the Your Design area to AI-powered experience corners, from the yoga studio to the children’s playground, represents a world that goes beyond shopping.” 

In his speech, Ateş also mentioned DeFacto’s DeFacto FIT application, which brings a new dimension to the digital sports experience in Türkiye; “In our DeFacto FIT application, which we have been working on for a long time, we bring our customers together with thousands of professional trainers free of charge, without exposing them to any advertisements, and we provide live lessons. We have more than 4,000 content in areas such as fitness, yoga, pilates, dance, breathing and meditation. The yoga and pilates studios in our store are a reflection of this. We also offer dance and fitness options.”
