Arıkan Mensucat was established as a family company in Kahramanmaraş about 30 years ago and continued its textile journey, which started with yarn production, by adding knitting, dyeing and finishing processes. Achieving a position of a worldwide integrated textile manufacturer, the company has started to use three BRÜCKNER stenter for high quality knitted fabric finishing in 2014, since the establishment of the dyeing and finishing facility. Arıkan then continued its production by supplying two more lines in 2016 and another one in 2019. With the commissioning of the latest line, the company will produce high quality knitwear for the whole world by a total of seven BRÜCKNER stenters.
Producing approximately 55 tons of knitwear and employing 1,500 people per day, Arıkan Mensucat supplies several well-known Turkish fashion brands as well as manufacturers in Europe, Russia, Gulf Countries and other leading international markets. Since 2014, the company has preferred BRÜCKNER finishing lines, which offer plenty of advantages in production.

Talks in progress for the investment of new BRÜCKNER lines
Arıkan Mensucat attaches great importance to energy saving especially in the fabric finishing department and talks are already in progress for another BRÜCKNER line. The drying process, requiring the most energy in the entire production chain, is also the area where most savings can be made. BRÜCKNER’s combined heating system solution basically uses steam energy, which is available in Turkey free or at affordable prices, for the drying process. The system automatically switches over to gas heating when the available steam is insufficient for heating up the dryer. In this way, significant energy and cost savings are achieved; on the one hand, textile manufacturers contribute to environmentally friendly production and on the other hand, increase their competitiveness in the market.
BRÜCKNER, which has been offering combined heating systems for several years depending on the customer’s requirements and the available resources, ensures a changeover to another energy source without a problem today, thanks to the development of these combined systems over many years and sophisticated software.
