One of the leading textile brands of Turkey, Özdilek achieves rapid growth in retail segment thanks to the malls it has opened recently. The company is planning to raise the company’s employment up to 8 thousand by opening news malls in 5 different cities until the end of the year.
Textile leader Özdilek shows fast improvement in retail segment. Being one of the biggest towel manufacturers of Turkey with the production capacity of 10 thousand tons a year, Özdilek has 30-40 million dollars export volume with 15 million metres of bedding production. The company has also been maintaining its textile success on retail and mall segments. The firm is planning to open a mall in Alaaddinbey as well as Uşak, Turgutlu, Düzce and Mudanya. Özdilek Holding Chairman of the Board Hüseyin Özdilek has announced that by the end of the year the employment numbers will have reached to 8 thousand.
Hüseyin Özdilek: “The only way to raise up to the level of contemporary civilization is industrialization and become a konowledge-based society.”
Hüseyin Özdilek said that in Alaaddinbey Mall built on 60 thousand square meters area on Bursa-İzmir road, 55 shop will provide service and the mall’s opening will be on March 2017. Özdilek stated; “The only way to raise up to the level of contemporary civilization is industrialization and become a konowledge-based society. On the way of industrialization, we came to a certain point on towel and home textile industries. With a capacity of 10 thousand tons; we are one of the biggest towel manufacturers of Turkey. We produce 15 million meters of bedding set a year in our dye-printing factory; and we sell these in domestic and foreign markets. We have 30-40 millions of annual export volume. We employ 2 thousand people on industry department.”
“Currently, we are 7 thousand people in total; by the end of the year we will have opened 4 new malls. Alaaddinbey that we built this year, will be the fifth mall. We will also employ one thousand people there. By the end of the year 7 thousand will have gone up to 8 thousand people.”
