In 2019, the share of textile, apparel and leather producers in the ISO Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises and Türkiye’s Second Top 500 Industrial Enterprises lists was 17 percent. This share decreased over the years and fell to 12 percent in 2024. Over the years, 2019, a total of 169 companies from these sectors were included in the two lists, while this number declined over the years and in 2024, only 121 companies were able to take their place among Türkiye’s top 1000 industrial enterprises. Of these, 32 were ranked in the first list and 89 in the second list.
When the lists shared between 2012 and 2021 are analyzed (lists before 2012 are not available on the ISO500 official website), it is seen that the share of companies from the textile, apparel and leather industries did not fall below 15 percent, while the lowest rate of the last 13 years was reported in 2024. Only 121 companies from these sectors were included in the top 1000 list.
Companies manufacturing leather and related products, which were very few in ISO lists in the past, have not been included in ISO lists since 2021.
