Turkey’s two most important printing and advertising fairs, SIGN Istanbul and FESPA Eurasia, are counting down the days to meet their visitors this year. Due to the increasing vaccination rate and the measures taken, intense interest is expected for the 2021 printing fairs. As SIGN Istanbul, which will be held for the 22nd time between 9-12 September, prepares to bring the printing industry together in TÜYAP Beylikdüzü; FESPA Eurasia, which will take place for the eighth time at Istanbul Expo Center (IFM), will host its visitors between 2-5 December 2021.

2021 printing fairs are coming to close the gap created by the pandemic

SIGN Istanbul, which brought dynamism to the industrial advertising and digital printing industry with numerous agreements in 2019, will host thousands of qualified visitors on a global scale this year. The fair received promotional support from the Turkish Ministry of Commerce in 2021, and will thus intensify its communication with buyers from all over the world and offer a more efficient fair experience to the participants. All innovations from digital printing machines to screen printing machines, from textile printing to laser machines, from dyes to promotional products, from LED systems to industrial advertising products, from 3D printing technologies to visual communication and exhibition equipment will be exhibited at the fair.

Tarsus Turkey Fairs Director Seda Bozkurt said that SIGN Istanbul will be the first face-to-face sectoral meeting on a global scale after two years. Bozkurt stated that Turkey, which is at the centre of the trade network stretching from the Balkans to the Caucasus, from the Middle East to North Africa, continues to be the shining star of world trade with its geographical location, logistics power, quality production potential and reasonable cost advantage; “In this direction, the international fairs organized in our country also shape the future of the sector it addresses. SIGN Istanbul 2021 will be at the centre of the world in the international trade of the signage and digital printing industry”.

2021 printing fairs are coming to close the gap created by the pandemic

All necessary measures will be taken against the pandemic in the fairgrounds

FESPA Eurasia 2021, one of the leading printing fairs of the Eurasia region, is planned to be held this year with the participation of 120 exhibitors and more than 500 brands. The innovations of the signage and digital printing world will be presented together at the fair, where new products and technologies related to wide format digital printing, screen printing, textile printing and signage will be exhibited. FESPA Eurasia 2021 aims to enable the world of print and signage to follow trends, create new jobs inspired by the fair, and close the job gap of the industry during the pandemic period.

2021 printing fairs are preparing a safe fairground where all hygiene measures are applied for their visitors. FESPA Eurasia Fair Manager Betül Binici stated that the positive atmosphere created by the widespread vaccination brought vitality to the sector and said that they aimed to breathe life into the sector with this fair. Noting that the high demand for this year’s fair shows the potential of the sector, Binici made the following statement; “As FESPA Eurasia and Sign Association of Turkey (ARED), we stand by all companies in the sector. FESPA Eurasia will be an opportunity for companies in the sector to make up for the losses in their business due to the pandemic. We also plan to provide all the convenience to the companies regarding the participation of the fair and to support them”.
