Textile professionals from around the world explored innovations across all areas of the industry—from weaving and knitting to yarn, digital printing, finishing, and denim—over five days at ITM 2026. Thousands of visitors from approximately 100 countries, including Egypt, Pakistan, India, Uzbekistan, Syria, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, gathered at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center to pursue new investment and partnership opportunities. Participating companies noted that the majority of visitors to their stands came from Türkiye and neighboring countries.
The exhibition started off relatively quietly in terms of visitor numbers but pleased exhibitors as attendance increased in the following days. Knitting and printing segments stood out with high visitor interest, while industry representatives stated that, despite current economic conditions, the preference of professionals maintaining their investment agendas for ITM 2026 contributed to the fair’s commercial success.
Intensive meetings held at exhibitor stands laid the groundwork for new collaborations, while many companies also signed significant machinery sales during the event. Some industry representatives noted that, despite current economic conditions, investment appetite continues and that the exhibition serves as an important source of motivation in this regard. Others, however, indicated that due to the current climate, manufacturers remain cautious about new investments, focusing instead on improving existing machine parks, as well as increasing efficiency and savings.
Machinery sales and strong collaborations marked ITM 2026
Visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to discover innovative, environmentally friendly, and digitally advanced technologies aimed at a sustainable future. Company owners were able to experience the technologies they plan to use in their factories on-site and receive information from experts, while also examining samples produced by the machines. Alongside machinery sales, new investment decisions and collaborations provided an upward momentum for the textile machinery industry.
