Mimaki Eurasia, the market leader of inkjet printing technologies and cutting plotters, met industry professionals in Erzurum, Diyarbakır and Sivas in the third of the Mimaki Technology Promotion Tour. The first leg of the Mimaki Technology Promotion Tour was held during the ARED Signage Industry Meeting and seminar organized by the Sign Association of Turkey (ARED) on March 11 under the main sponsorship of Mimaki Eurasia. Afterwards, Mimaki Eurasia met with industry professionals by organizing events in Diyarbakır on March 14 and Sivas on March 17. All three events where Mimaki’s advanced inkjet printing technologies and cutting plotters were exhibited attracted great interest from the industry.

Mimaki Eurasia organizes Technology Promotion Tours both to strengthen the bond with industry professionals in the regions and to show Mimaki technologies and advantages to them. Visitors of the Technology Promotion Tours organized in Erzurum, Diyarbakır and Sivas had the chance to see Mimaki’s solutions for advanced signage, graphics and other industrial markets. During the event, visitors also received extensive information from Mimaki experts and held encouraging discussions on new areas of application.

Visitors experienced Mimaki technologies with the Mimaki Technology Promotion Tour

Mimaki Eurasia included the following solutions in the tour covering three cities: CJV300-160 Plus print/cut printer, SWJ-320EA wide format solvent printer, UCJV300-160 UV-LED print/cut printer, UCJV300-75 UV-LED print/cut printer, UJF-3042MkII EX UV-LED printer, UJF-6042MkII UV-LED printer, 3DFF-222 3D printer, CG-130SRIII cutting plotter and LA-160W laminator.

UV and (eco) solvent printing technologies drew great attention especially in the events by signage and promotional manufacturers. Visitors gained detailed information about new printing possibilities both in the interviews and in the samples they examined. 5-layer printing, the use of varnish, printing on coloured foil, the use of white colour, and LD mode were often discussed.

Cansu Zambak: We brought Mimaki solutions to the printers

Reminding that they carried out Technology Promotion Tours in Çanakkale and Balıkesir after the Black Sea region last year, Mimaki Eurasia Marketing and Communication Representative Cansu Zambak said that they focused on Anatolian regions this year and covered a distance of 3 thousand kilometres. Zambak; “In this year’s first tour, we aimed to reach regions that we have never been before. We are happy to realize an event where machines are exhibited for the first time in Erzurum, Diyarbakır and Sivas. The intense interest we received from local sector professionals really pleased us. Both the interest shown to us and successful discussions we have made indicate that the steps taken by Mimaki Eurasia for the Turkish printing industry are appreciated by the market”.

Noting that they also attach great importance to directly access to companies outside of Istanbul, Zambak said; “The important fairs of the industry are organized in Istanbul. However, it is not always possible to wait for fairs or welcome the visitors appropriately during a busy fair schedule. For this reason, we have exhibited a large number of our machines operating during the events and printed samples, just like organizing a mini Mimaki fair. We aim to continue organizing such events in the coming period as well. We also consider this very important for the development of local manufacturers and the industry”.

Visitors were satisfied with the event

During the Mimaki Technology Promotion Tour covering Erzurum, Diyarbakır and Sivas, visitors expressed their satisfaction in seeing these printing technologies in their cities.
