Fashion Prime Textile, Ready-to-Wear Suppliers and Technologies Fair will be held for the fourth time this year by İZFAŞ at fuarizmir on September 15-17, 2021 and will host importers from Croatia, Bulgaria and Morocco. On the first day of the fair, Aegean Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters’ Association (EHKİB) will bring together the importers participating in the fair and local exporters with the Buying Committee program they will organize with the support of the Ministry of Commerce. On the same day, EHKİB will simultaneously hold bilateral business meetings with representative companies localized in Turkey and exporters.

“Fashion Prime will contribute to a new leap in the industry”

EHKİB President Burak Sertbaş announced that bilateral meetings between importers from Croatia, Bulgaria and Morocco, and export companies from İzmir will be on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 10.30-17.00 in the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) Lounge Area no. F-143 located in Hall B of Fuar İzmir.

Explaining that as EHKİB, they aim to export 1.5 billion dollars for the end of 2021, Burak Sertbaş said; “In the January-August period of 2021, we increased our exports from 809 million dollars to 959 million dollars with an increase of 18.4 percent. With our performance in the last 4 months of the year, we will reach our export target of 1.5 billion dollars. The Pret Ready to Wear and Fashion Fairs held in Izmir in the 1990s had a very important mission in the development of the İzmir Fashion Industry and reaching the level of 1.5 billion dollars in exports.” Sertbaş stated that Fashion Prime will make a great contribution to the sector’s leaping forward and reaching the level of 3 billion dollars in exports in the coming years.

EHKİB aims to bring manufacturers and buyers together with two events to be held on the first day of Fashion Prime.

13 representative companies and exporting companies will come together

EHKİB Vice President and Head of the Foreign Market Strategies Development Committee, Seray Seyfeli, announced that they will hold bilateral business meetings with representative companies localized in Turkey at the Fashion Prime on September 15, simultaneously with the organization of the Buying Committee. Saying that they will bring together 13 representative companies and exporting companies, Seyfeli expressed that they will be in an effort to enrich the content of the İzmir Fashion Prime with the Buying Committee and Representative company meetings. Relaying that Aegean ready-to-wear clothing companies show great interest in bilateral meetings with representative companies, Seyfeli stated that bilateral meeting calendars were full on the first day of the announcement.

Simultaneously with the Fashion Prime, Fashion Tech Ready-to-Wear Clothing, Garment and Textile Machinery, Textile Printing Technologies Fair will be held in fuarizmir, hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and organized by İZFAŞ and İZGİ Fuarcılık. Fashion Tech aims to bring together the ready-to-wear, apparel and textile machinery industries and to mediate the establishment of meaningful commercial connections.
