Among Turkey’s largest IT companies, Lidya Grup, will participate at Sign Istanbul 2018 and will showcase about 15 machines belonging to 3 brands in their booth.

Lidya Grup is participating at Sign Istanbul 2018 between September the 20th and 23rd with solutions for signage and digital printing industries. Lidya Grup booth will show about 15 machines from Xerox, Epson and EFI brands. Products from a wider range such as digital printing technology, textile printing and screen printing technology, sign technology, visual communication, Led & Led display, signage, 3D printing and promotion Fuarda will be offered for visitor’s interest. Lidya Grup will present the world’s latest technology machines in the digital printing industry and samples from the works the machines are doing at their 308 square meter booth.

Lidya Grup Chairman Bekir Öz gave information about their participation to the exhibition, and underlined that they will make a technology show in their booth. Öz stated that they are offering advanced technology machines to the Turkish local market; “At all the exhibition we are participating, we showcase machines valued millions and give other players in the industry the opportunity to see the latest innovations in technology closely”.

Lidya Grup Has Been Among the Biggest in IT

Lidya Grup was among the top 500 IT companies that left their mark on 2017. According to the results of ‘Turkey’s Top 500 IT Companies 2017 – Informatics 500’ research, Lidya Grup was able to enter among the top in the categories they have been represented. The results of the survey were announced in a highly attended ceremony.

Bekir Öz, who said that they have been listed in four categories in Informatics 500, explained that they were one of the top 3 companies in the industry when the figures in these categories were are added up. Evaluating the results of the first 15 companies category according to the income of printing systems, Öz said; “Printing systems revenue category, according to the results of the first 15 companies; Lidya Bilişim is 6th, Lidya Dağıtım is 8th. When we add our Lidya Donanım and Lidya Dokümantasyon companies which are listed in other categories; we are among the top 3 companies in our industry with the revenue of our 4 companies in total.”

The last quarter of 2018 will be bustling

Evaluating the current situation of the markets; Bekir Öz announced that they expected the market to be active in the last quarter of 2018 as it was last year. Öz stated that the second and third quarters of this year were stable; due to the increase in foreign exchange rates, election and the national holiday;

“We are convinced that with the economic support programs that our government is putting in places, markets will open. As a matter of fact, during fluctuations in exchange rates; more or less everyone can be affected in a certain way; one of the important elements is financial power. Because Lidya Grup is financially powerful; it manages business processes with the same efficiency without making any disruption in the supply of goods. In summary, despite the investments that have been deferred due to the increase in foreign exchange rates; Lidya Grup reaching targets shows that we are having a successful year with our visionary management and business model.”

1 TL investment in IT is sold at 25 TL added value

Expressing that preparation for the future and globalization of the companies can be achieved through “digitalization”; Bekir Öz said that they foresee businesses will realize serious investments; in bringing digitalization into their business processes in the coming period. Öz; “Companies that are aware of the 1 TL investment in IT bring 25 TL added value; do not want to postpone their digitalization investments. One of the important issues here is that small and medium-sized businesses are involved in the digitalization process; as well as large companies.”

The total industry size in Information and Communication Technologies; recorded a volume of 116.9 billion TL in 2017 with a growth of 18.2% on Turkish Lira basis. In the category of Information Technologies; it is stated that the highest growth rate is 29.1% in service category compared to the previous year. Growth in the service industry was followed by software with 20.5% and hardware industry with 13.8%.
