Turkey and the region’s largest textile machinery and technology exhibition ITM 2021, has been postponed to June 14-18, 2022 considering the effects of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in the world. While the postponement decision was taken as a result of intense discussions and evaluations with participants and sector representatives, there was no change in the fairground. ITM 2022 will be held next year with partnership of Tüyap Tüm Fuarcılık A.Ş. and Teknik Fuarcılık A.Ş. in cooperation with TEMSAD, at Istanbul Tuyap Fair and Congress Center. As it will be remembered, the exhibition was postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic.
The last exhibition held in 2018 hosted the world textile industry with 1200 exhibitors from 64 countries and 60.000 visitors from 94 countries. ITM 2022 Exhibition which will be held next year is preparing to break new records as one of the most important global organisations to be held after the pandemic period.
“Our priority is not commercial earnings”
In the statement, the ITM Organization Team commented; “Our priority is to protect valuable exhibitors and visitors’ investments and all rights, not our commercial earnings. In this regard, we believe that all of our participants will find this compulsory postponement decision taken for the ITM Exhibition justified and will understand”.
Organisation team hopes to see exhibitors and visitors at the exhibition, where the latest technologies to be exhibited and great ideas will meet.
World textile machinery manufacturers and investors will meet at ITM 2022
Hundreds of companies participating in the ITM 2022 will have the opportunity to introduce their latest technological innovations and products to tens of thousands of visitors in Istanbul for 5 days. ITM 2022 brings together world textile machinery manufacturers and investors and will direct the textile machinery sector in terms of launches and new ideas from companies.
Innovations in the fields of spinning, weaving, knitting, finishing, dyeing, textile printing and accessories are exhibited at ITM fairs. Simultaneously with the ITM 2022, the nonwoven and technical textiles fair Hightex 2022 will be held too.
