FESPA Eurasia 2018 Digital Printing Platform is Successful

FESPA Eurasia 2018 satisfied the participants with the increasing intensity of the visitors during the four days, and once again proved that it is the most important digital printing platform for the growth of the industry with the business agreements that took place.

Organized for the first time at Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) between 6-9 December, FESPA Eurasia 2018 digital printing platform carried its success as an exhibition organized by the industry for the benefit of the industry. The exhibition witnessed a continuous flow of visitors for 4 days, and the participants were pleased with the volume of work and market potential that it created.

Eurasia’s leading large format digital printing, screen printing, commercial printing, textile printing, garment decoration and signage exhibition was marked by the volume of foreign visitors this year. Industry professionals from the surrounding region visiting FESPA Eurasia 2018 with a successful organization held successful interviews with local and international participants at the exhibition.

Ivaylo Dukov from Dukov Brand Ltd. made the following comment on the exhibition; “It was very useful for me to visit the exhibition. I’ve met a lot of new people here that I could visit and make business with in the future. The result was positive, of course.”

Murat Fedai from System Serigrafi; “Our purpose here was to see the size and position of the technology for our company and to examine the machines. FESPA Eurasia was very useful for us in this context.”

Peak in satisfaction level of the participants

Held for the 6th time with the partnership of FESPA and Sign Association of Turkey (ARED), FESPA Eurasia once again demonstrated its difference as the only exhibition organized by the industry for the industry’s benefit. Organized at the 9th and 10th Halls of the IFM, the exhibition has evolved into a technology and business platform with participants from all segments of the printing and advertising industry.

Mimaki Eurasia General Manager Arjen Evertse; “The exhibition was very busy from the first day. Especially the first two days, the number of foreign visitors was too high.” Evertse stated that FESPA and ARED have done various studies for the development and training of the industry and that the hard work shown by them have caused Mimaki to support FESPA Eurasia.

The official representative of Roq brand from Turkey Bülent Altaylar; “We are experiencing the best exhibition of the last five years at FESPA Eurasia 2018”.

Optimum Digital Planet Manager Taner Can Güven stated the following about the exhibition; “I recommend people FESPA Eurasia because of its international aspect. We always recommend people from the regions around Turkey to visit here; and make Turkey as a hub for the international printing industry.”

Turan Kimya General Manager Devrim Başar Turan noted that FESPA Eurasia 2018 is one of the most successful fair organizations ever made in the field of screen printing. Turan; “The exhibition being organized in a perfect location such as Istanbul offers unique opportunities to the companies that want to trade in the Eurasia region”.

FESPA Eurasia digital printing platform events attracted great attention

FESPA Eurasia’s important events for both exhibitors and visitors attracted great interest. Print Make Wear workshops; which were organized for the first time in their private space in the Hall 9 and 10; welcomed those who want to watch entire garment production process from design through to the finished garments.

In one of the two Print Make Wear workshops, live T-shirt printing works were carried out; with the collaboration of the famous Italian T-shirt print manufacturer Angelo Barzaghi, Turan Kimya, Tetaş and Flomak. In the other workshop, the patterns designed with the cooperation of Mimaki, BTC, Brother, Tural Makina and Canapa Kağıt were transferred to fabric with transfer printing. Sewed creative clothes from printed fabrics were displayed on the models; emphasizing the relationship between the fashion industry and printing technology.

In Signage Demo Workshop, live signage demos showcased by the signage experts during the show. The techniques of the signage masters in branches; such as 3D, CNR Router, laser, signboard writing, and neon were followed by the visitors with pleasure.

FESPA Eurasia Wrap Masters

The wrapping competition FESPA Eurasia Wrap Masters has attracted all the attention this year again. Ivan Tenchev, who came from Bulgaria, became the crowned winner of the competition; where the contestants from various countries in the Eurasian region took part in. Tenchev thus obtained the chance to participate in the Wrap Masters at FESPA Global Print Expo 2019; which will be held in Munich from 14 to 17 May.

Creating a positive atmosphere and acceleration in the industry; FESPA Eurasia 2018 digital printing platform ensured the companies to close the year in a good way; with sales and cooperation at the exhibition. After a short time, the detailed report will be announced; and the 2019 edition will take place at IFM on 5-8 December. Bookings have already started for the companies that want to take part in 2019.
