Atexco VEGA 3180DT Introduced to the Turkish Market – Ender Yılmaz

Introducing Atexco VEGA 3180DT direct textile printing machine at FESPA Eurasia 2018, Mert Digital aims to bring new opportunities to the industrial printing segment. Atexco solutions draw attention with a concept that combines rotation and digital printing.

Founded in 2011 to offer digital printing solutions and services to the textile industry, Mert Dijital has achieved successful business results at FESPA Eurasia 2018. The VEGA 3180DT model showed its high performance to the visitors in the booth where the company exhibited Atexco solutions they are representing.

Saying that Mert Dijital’s cooperation with Atexco began in 2015, Mert Dijital’s General Manager Ender Yılmaz disclosed that they have worked in order to learn the machines and the processes in the first 2 years. Yılmaz told that at the end of this period, they have begun to offer Atexco digital printing solutions to the Turkish textile industry with great confidence. Yılmaz; “It is an important company established in Hangzhou High-Tech Zone Software Park in 1992. The company was awarded the prestigious National Torch Award for its success. As of today, Atexco has important solutions in CAD/CAM/CIM systems for the clothing industry, digital printing systems, inkjet direct manufacturing systems, advertising printing systems and carpet printing.”

Noting that Atexco is the market leader in the Asian market with the solutions they offer, Yılmaz indicated that Mert Dijital also provides inks and spare parts of the brand aside from the digital printers. Yılmaz continued saying; “With over 20 years of experience in the field of inkjet printing technologies, Atexco reaches more than 2,000 users globally”.

Atexco VEGA 3180DT introduced to the Turkish market for the first time

Ender Yilmaz said that Atexco’s solutions combining rotation and digital printing, digital printing models and inks were presented at FESPA Eurasia 2018. Yılmaz disclosed that VEGA 3180DT stood out as the leading solution in the industrial grade direct textile printer in their booth. Yılmaz; “VEGA is a well-known series in the Asian market. Exhibited in our booth and a new entry to the Turkish market, I can tell that they sell 30 units of this model per month in the Asian market. This machine, which has the capacity of working 24 hours, also has the special roll fabric feeding unit developed by Atexco for this model.”

With 32 Kyocera print heads VEGA 3180DT can work with any kind of ink including reactive and disperse. Inks need to be selected according to the type of fabric to print on. “The VEGA 3180DT has a high-quality printing power of 350 meters per hour and also features a 16-head model,” said Yılmaz and continued saying that this machine can be installed on FilmDruck machines. Emphasizing that the traditional system and digital printing technology can work together, Yılmaz said; “We can realize this on rotary printing machines as well. For example, we can print the backdrop of textile material with rotation printing, while other patterns and elements can be printed with VEGA 3180DT”.

Only Atexco have the camera system

Yılmaz pointed out that the industrial direct textile printing segment is developing rapidly in Turkey; and argued that Atexco carries a serious market potential in this area. Yılmaz continued his words as follows; “We are in contact with textile companies especially in Bursa, Denizli and Çorlu. We learn their demands and expectations. We identify what Atexco solution is most suitable for them. The machines have improved versions for different purposes. For example, our VEGA 3180DT has two versions, 180 cm and 320cm wide. Home textile industry representatives prefer the larger version while the garment segment prefers the other. The print head of this machine is guaranteed by the company; on the condition that Atexco inks (reagent, acid, disperse, pigment, sublimation) are used.

Referring to another Atexco solution, Yılmaz underlined that only Atexco have the camera system in the world. Yılmaz; “With the Vega3180DL, it is possible to print on only to the jacquard part for the jacquard fabrics; and on the desired areas for lace fabrics. Double-sided printing on fabric is also possible. Printing on the front and back of the fabric can be made to fit perfectly. This, in turn, contributes to the growth of the markets for print manufacturers with new implementations”.

FESPA Eurasia 2018 was successful for us

Ender Yılmaz said that FESPA Eurasia 2018 was a very successful event for them; and announced that they have made important negotiations with companies; that will make new investments or modernize the machine park in the next period. Yilmaz finished as follows; “Investment costs are taken more into account because of rising and unstable exchange rates. Atexco’s solutions offer 30% more cost advantage compared to their competitors. In the period ahead we will see Atexco as a forthcoming brand in Turkish market”.
