Known for its metallic-rich jacquard fabrics and vibrant authentic multicolor designs, Monateks successfully expands its position in the high-fashion apparel fabrics segment globally. Operating in Bursa, Türkiye, the company works with Itema weaving technologies to achieve the precision, flexibility and efficiency required for complex fashion fabrics.
Owner Burçak Yalçınbayır explained that Monateks was established following the transformation of an earlier family textile business and gradually evolved into a design-oriented fabric manufacturer focused on women’s fashion fabrics. Yalçınbayır said that the company’s creative direction changed significantly after discovering a wider variety of yarns and textile constructions, stating metallic and multicolor yarns in particular became central elements of Monateks’ fabric identity.
Today, the company develops many of its own authentic patterns and variations internally while focusing on visually rich jacquard constructions. After initially serving the domestic market, Monateks expanded internationally through textile fairs in Paris and began attracting customers from countries including Morocco, Algeria, Spain and the UAE.

Exceptionally vivid and realistic fabrics with metallic yarns
Jacquard weaving forms the core of Monateks’ production structure. Yalçınbayır emphasized that this segment requires extremely high precision because even the smallest yarn defect can become visible on the fabric surface. Metallic yarn insertion, multicolor weaving capability and production stability are therefore critical production parameters for the company.
In this context, Itema weaving technologies play a key role in manufacturing performance. Yalçınbayır stated that the company’s familiarity with Somet technology from earlier generations naturally led them toward Itema solutions. She highlighted metallic yarn performance, production efficiency and reliable technical support among the strongest advantages provided by the machines: “Because our fabrics are highly colorful and especially rich in metallics, with the technology Itema provides us, we’re able to create exceptionally vivid, realistic products. In my opinion, Itema is highly competitive in this area as well and provides tremendous ease for our production.”
Yalçınbayır also noted that advanced weaving technology allows the company to create highly detailed and visually powerful fabrics with improved consistency and flexibility in production and described Itema briefly as trust, fast service and quality.
Looking ahead, the company aims to further strengthen its position in export markets through continued investment in creative fabric development and advanced weaving capabilities.
